R.A. Paradis & Son, Inc. was founded in 1986 by Ronald Paradis as a building contractor in the general area of Newport, Maine. Shortly after that the business moved into the earth work excavation business with light trucking to support the business's needs. By 2001 the company had grown to multiple earth work crews doing both residential and commercial excavation throughout the state of Maine.
At this time R.A. Paradis was still doing light trucking to support the business's needs and now was hiring out their trucks during slow times of the year. In 2009 R.A. Paradis & Son, Inc. started their first tractor trailer full time for Pike Industries. It was slow at first but with determination the Trucking Division started to grow.

As someone with there CDL for 15 years and not a single infraction, I take driving an 80,000-100,000 low-bed rig dead serious. One of your company asphalt drivers I encountered today apparently does not. I was just brake checked on I-295 north bound Freeport by one of your drivers who cut me off because he must have wanted to save 2 minutes on a round trip. Doesn't matter what you're driving. You do not cut someone off and then proceed to brake check them because you made a dangerous move that put me 1 meter off your rear crash bar. He should have his license pulled. I'll have you know I reported

Horrible driver ran me and my husband Off the road with my 13 month old daughter in the backseat. Called the office to make a complaint and the lady told me it wasn’t important and we were in the way and hung up on me after asking to speak with the owners. That’s terrible service.
