Services
We are Ron and Shelly! We've been in the Valley a long time ~Ron was born and raised here, and Shelly since 1980. Our families are here, and we love and cherish Southern Oregon. Ron started On The Side in 1990 and has been providing event services ever since. Now with partner Shelly, they work together designing events from weddings to corporate parties to private dinners.
The greatest compliment we can provide is that Ron and Shelly gave us the best day of our lives! It was completely stress free, they took care of everything. We felt their love and care pouring from every corner of what they have created. Nothing was too much trouble in the run up to the wedding and everything was handled very smoothly.

Our wedding wouldn’t have been the same without the help of On the Side Events. They actually helped us find a dj and florist too. They worked flawlessly with the venue and the caterer. Ron clearly has a lot of experience doing events and worked to make sure our day was as perfect as could be.
The details of the decorations were amazing and I felt like we got more than we paid for! We were already so satisfied and then I heard a comment from the pastor speaking off their decorating expertise - ‘the venue (Roxy Ann Winery) was more beautiful than any other wedding he’s ever done there.’

Ron and Shelly are exceptional at what they do! It seems nothing is impossible with this team. Planning my wedding with On the Side Events, meant that everyone in my family could relax and enjoy the day, knowing that all the details from decor to food were going to be perfect. Extremely reliable and fun to work with. They took care of everything and more for my wedding. Great food, decorations, ideas, etc. We met with them once before the wedding and gave them a few ideas, the rest was up to their discretion. The result was far better than I could have dreamed. 10/10 would recommend to anyone for any occasion!

Ron and Shelly coordinated the wedding of my dreams! Very talented, professional and fun. They made the whole process very seamless and stress free. They set up and tore down everything, all we had to do was show up! They make it a very easy to enjoy any type of event you are planning. I would recommend Ron and Shelly to everyone, as they did an amazing job. I gave them very little to go off of but they went with it and came up with something greater than I have ever imagined. Amazing people and amazing business!
