Wes Piatt, founder and owner of Sixteen Penny Construction, is a native to Charlotte, and has over 20 years in the construction industry. Wes' passion for building started at a young age as he visited job sites with his father and learned to appreciate the fine details of building. He has a passion for design, inventive construction, and building relationships and homes that families will treasure and enjoy for years.
He is a licensed General Contractor in both North and South Carolina. Wes is a member of the Remodelers Council in Charlotte and has received multiple awards for his excellence in building from this group: 2011 Gold Award Whole House, 2008 Silver Award Whole House, 2008 Silver Award Kitchen. Wes has been actively involved in Charlotte's Executive Association of Charlotte (EAC) since 2012 is serving as Vice President at EAC 2015-2016.
