The purpose of our Foundation is to generate significant financial support for projects which otherwise would not be possible within the budget of our district, while also creating scholarships for our well deserving seniors to further their education. My name is Casandra Ledesma and I am thrilled to serve as the new President of the Woodlake High School Foundation. As an of alum of WHS, I was once supported by the Foundation and so I joined the Foundation as a way of giving back to the Woodlake community. The members of the Foundation work hard to fund the futures of our students and I wanted to do my part in continuing that legacy.
The purpose of our foundation is to generate significant financial support for projects which otherwise would not be possible within the budget of our district. We welcome any contribution you make to aid us in this goal. Individuals and businesses can help support WHS students by starting a scholarship, or contributing to an existing one.
Amanda graduated from Woodlake High School as the top student and valedictorian of the class of 1992. Amanda was the first woman and Mexican-American from her small town to be accepted at Stanford University and went on to earn a BA in Economics as well as a BA in Political Science, with honors. She also has a Master's degree in Business Administration from the Harvard Business School.
