I'd advise against going to this practice because my experience is that they push a lot of extra services at you, presumably so they can boost their revenue. That's not only a waste of money but also your time, which can be a bigger factor. Given the large number of choices for podiatrists in NYC, I think one can do better.

Dr. Sanaa is amazing! Great bedside manner and exceptionally knowledgeable in podiatry. However, I would encourage those interested in making an appointment to NOT use their website to schedule an appointment. I did so, and was informed the day before my appointment (and an hour before their office closed) that she would not be at the location I booked. Apparently, their website scheduler does not accurately reflect the physicians actual schedule. I’d already altered my schedule to accommodate this appointment which ultimately was canceled. I had a great experience at Gotham. Dr. Cunha is an authority on what he does. I had Cryo-surgery for my neuromas and actually travelled to New York to get the procedure done. It was worth the trip. He was focused, skilled, and efficient. I trust him—especially with the post-op. And his staff? So sweet and helpful! Couldn’t be nicer. Thanks Linda for making it all happen!

I am very happy with the care I received at Gotham Foot care. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. Very limited amount of time on hold when calling. They worked with me to find good appointment times for my schedule. I was treated by Dr. Kim who was very kind and listened to my concerns. She detected an issue that other Podiatrists did not identify. I would definitely recommend this office to my friends and family.

I felt it was important to write a review a few months after my procedure at Gotham to give a more accurate reflection.
First and foremost, the staff here are brilliant. They're incredibly friendly and attentive, and as someone not familiar with how healthcare works in the U.S. everything was explained to me very clearly so I didn't get any nasty surprises in terms of billing etc.
I had a small surgical procedure to help with a repeat fracture issue I was having, and Dr Sanaz was impressive throughout. She took a holistic approach to my care, and that diligence is why I think I feel so good now

The facilities are up to date and alway nice and clean. BUT, the true reason to come here are the people. Some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Dr. Kim and Dr. Sanaz both make it feel like you are apart of a big family and everytime you see them is like coming home and being cared for. Annie, one of the technicians and schedulers, is one of the genuinely nicest and most open people I have ever met. Dr Cunha is exceptional and has taken immaculate care of my feet. I am always untrusting when it comes to getting a pedicure but his medi pedi is exceptional and keeps my feet soft and healthy year round. The entire office is friendly and accommodating. I wish I could find the time to visit more often.

She is amazing! My ingrown toenail turned into back to back infections within 6 months. It got so bad the toe needed a procedure done in office. I was so scared and nervous, her team even had a nurse come in and hold my hand during the numbing shot. If she didn't have that, I would've been a mess! She is responsive via email at all hours-Even weekends! Total lifesavor! Office is friendly and very on it when it comes to callbacks, pharmacy refills etc.

After complaining about some staff not following up on my treatment I was really surprised that the customer service took my complaint seriously. I had a serious case of plantar fasciitis and when I came back for another visit the staff was aware of my condition & needed treatment and was very courteous. I have seen the changes over the 4 next sessions that I needed and would recommend this place for physical therapy. I am now cured!

So I had hurt my foot and decided to look for a podiatrist near my office. Came across Gotham. I saw Dr Kim and she looked at my x-rays and came back with a boot and told me my foot was fractured. The diagnosis was spot on but what followed was not. They had me coming in for physical therapy that is totally useless on a sesamoid fracture. And I paid a co-pay each time I came in. I was desperate to heal quickly and wanted to do everything possible. Dr Kim was very nice, but I feel a bit misled about how long it was going to take me to heal.

I went to Gotham Foot Care in January even after reading some of the horrible reviews. I saw Doctor Kim(she is actually really sweet), and she took x-rays, had me in a boot in the winter for two months and recommended PT twice a week as well as sensory, and still couldn't diagnose. Finally she recommended an MRI, which my insurance didn't cover because she couldn't figure out the issue. I stop going to Dr. Kim because I saw no improvement on my pain, discomfort, and or resolution.
Fast foward to July, the discomfortable became unbearable so went to a Sports Podiatrist in Westchester

I really like the doctors at Gotham, specifically Dr. Sanaz. She had orthodics made for me that make running much easier.
I did have an issue with their billing company (MedLoop), but once Gotham's office manager became aware the matter was taken care of. They are centrally located in midtown. I have recommend Gotham to friends.

I had been doing muy Thai boxing for almost 6 months, and developed a huge pain in my foot. As usual, I waited till the last minute when the pain was unbearable.
I had looked up podiatrists in the area and saw the great reviews about Gotham Footcare and called immediately. With in 2 days I had an appointment and was seen.
The office is great, clean, and everyone was very friendly and doctor Cunha took care of me in great fashion and left me with advice and techniques for the future so I could avoid such instances again.

One year after getting a hangnail and a small wart taken care of, I am STILL getting bills as they claim that my insurance is out of network (it's not, I have Aetna). I will never ever go here again.
*UPDATE: Dr. Cunha called me directly to apologize for the billing confusion, explain why it happened, and gave me his personal number to reach out if anything else came up regarding this claim/confusion. I appreciate that and am changing my review from one to three stars -- only three because it should have never happened in the first place and it still took a year for everything to get sorted

It was a breeze making an appointment on their website, which I completely appreciate. I'm not fond of the old school way of calling in to make an appointment because you're put on hold and it takes forever. I like that this clinic is up to date with technology. Also, when filling out their paper work it's done on the ipad and it's super quick.
