We had a horrible experience. The mediator acted more like a therapist than a lawyer and then spent two hours encouraging us to talk about why we didn't trust each other. It took us several steps backwards and caused even more tension in an already difficult situation.

I would strongly recommend NOT using the Brown Family Law Group.

I was extremely satisfied with the services provided by Jacquelyn Brown and her staff. My ex-husband and I wanted to do a no court divorce and they were more than happy to not only assist us but to do it in the most cost effective way possible. Their fees were fair and I feel they went above and beyond in many instances. Everything moved along smoothly and quickly thanks to them. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this firm for your family law needs.

I worked with Jacqulyn Brown to help me with my divorce. All of the custody stuff was sticky -- but she was SO knowledgeable, so helpful, so kind, and so PROMPT and responsive to my questions. It is RARE to find a lawyer who will call you back right away or reply to your emails, but she does. She was an amazing help to me and the rates were the lowest I found anywhere!!! I highly recommend Jacqulyn if you need help with anything, and she also says she can do mediation which I can see being really helpful.

I went to a free consultation with Mirissa and it was not just fluff - the typical, "here's how we work" session. It was a full-ON power session where I drilled her with questions for a half-hour about my case and she not only had great answers, but she delivered them calmly, smiling and in a very caring, unattorny-like way. She calmed me down and made me feel better. Mirissa Brown really loves what she does and I recommend her highly as competent, kind, fair and giving you all your best options. Just what I needed while going through a very difficult divorce and custody situation

We sought out the services of Brown and McMurray to help us resolve a legal problem that we encountered on a visit to California. They consulted with us and advised us of the best approach, which resulted in a successful resolution of the issue. We were pleased with their professional and efficient approach to the matter.

Divorce is difficult and confusing enough process even before you get to paperwork. But paperwork can literally put you over the edge.
My ex and I agreed on everything peacefully, but we have young child and that adds tons of complexity to papers.
Jacquelyn and Mirissa, very super helpful. I was not looking for anyone to represent me, but rather help me fill out the papers and explain the process. They made it so simple and understandable and conflict free. I walked out know exactly what to do and what to expect and without braking the bank. I live in the city and they also followed up with
