The Doctor, Coroner, or Medical Examiner's certification of the cause of death for the Death Certificate is required to obtain a permit from the Health Dept.
NOTICE: McComb & Wagner can order Certified Death Certificates from the Health Department within 12 months from the date of death. After 12 months a Certified Death Certificate must be ordered directly from Washington State Vital Statistics. Many families need one or more official certified copies of the death certificate to take care of certain estate, probate, or other business following a death.
Terramation is also known as natural organic reduction or human composting, and transforms human remains into life-giving soil. Natural Organic Reduction or Terramation is a process that happens in the natural world all the time. Terramation just makes it happen faster. Here's how it works: The body is placed in a sealed, environmentally controlled vessel along with organic materials such as alfalfa, straw and sawdust.

I called them after my husband passed and they showed such compassion and helped me through the process. They never pressured me into anything. We had my husband cremated and got his hand print done in a kit we had bought they did that at no extra cost to me. We purchased jewelry so we would always have a part of him with us. I would highly recommend them. I thank them for being by my family side and guiding us along the way. Tammy and Megan were great.
