We are only minutes from Door County. Unique shops, winery tours, art and craft shows can all be found. Many of our campers enjoy cherry and apple picking nearby. A walk on Algoma's boardwalk provides a breathtaking view of Lake Michigan and the lighthouse. The Ahnapee State Trail adjoins the campground and extends north to Sturgeon Bay and other areas between Luxemburg, Kewaunee, and Casco.

The gravel based trail is a non-motorized trail that is excellent for walking, hiking, biking and horseback riding and is also part of the Ice Age Trail. We provide camping for scouts, biking and other groups.

I had such an amazing stay at this campground! The owners were very personable and the seasonal campers were fun to be around. This is the kind of campground that you will want to come back to for years. The bathrooms were incredibly comforting and the fire ring was small, but retained a lot of heat. The tent sites are under a beautiful, thick canopy of trees and are secluded by a marsh.
This is the perfect distance from highway 42, which is a beautiful drive through Door County. Algoma has a lighthouse and a fun marina dynamic. I also caught my first Bowfin in the Algoma River! It was a great

The sites by the bathroom are a little on the small side. However, We had a pretty good experience overall. The pool was very nice, the showers were clean, and the campground was very convenient to the bike trail. Very pretty scenery.

Clean, quiet, and fun for all. I had a permanent site in this campground years ago. I returned to spend some quality family time and do some fishing. I found the new owners to be very accommodating and pleasant. We will be making this and annual family vacation spot!

This is a great camp ground to head to with the family. my girlfriend and I went on a last minute 4th of July camping trip with our two kids. booked the last tent site they had open for the whole weekend we where ready to take on the adventure. when we got there we found out that they where doing a whole bunch of activities for the whole family that weekend for the 4th. from doughnut and coffee to ice cream and adult beverages to a firework show put on by the camp ground owner. they even had a life band planned that unfortunately got canceled but we were reassured that it will for sure be happening
