Absolute Kustoms is our restoration division of Tidwell Paint and Body. We offer a variety of restoration needs including frame off restoration, resto-rod to a full-on crazy hot rod build or a ground-up restoration with OEM parts. You should select a repair facility based on their skill, service, knowledge, reputation, and guarantee of workmanship.

My business partner and I both took our vehicles here after he forgot that my van was parked right behind his truck. My family was leaving for the next week on a vacation so I had a very limited amount of time to get my vehicle fixed. Tidwell took my van in on Monday and I was able to pick it up on Thursday, good as new. One of the parts had not come in and even though it was something I never would have noticed, Jason at Tidwell said that he would notice and he couldn't leave it like that. Had my car towed to this shop after being hit by a blown out tire off a semi. Had a lot of front end damage and damage down the passenger side. Even though I had a custom paint job they were able to completely make my car look new again and the paint matched perfectly. It took longer for the insurance check to come through then it took them to order parts and get my car all back in one piece. I am so blessed to have found such a professional shop who have people that care about doing such a great job.

I brought my BMW into this shop and was extremely pleased how professional everyone. They kept me informed on when the parts would be in and when my car would be ready. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone that wants quality work in a timely manner. They worked extremely fast with my adjuster and even he commented on how well they communicated on the progress of my car.

The people here could not have been nicer. My brand new car had several dings from all the roadwork on the highways around Tuscaloosa. I was so upset to find them on my car, I went into the shop and was immediately met by the people there and assured that all would be well. They were't kidding. They took care of my car (and my panic about the dings). You would never know there was any marks on the car now. They made some great recommendations, too, for ways to take care of my vehicle. I don't normally like to blast businesses for bad service. I understand that there are people at home that need to be fed. However, I can't help but to let others know of my inconveniences with this company. It all started two and a half weeks ago when my car was taken to this shop. I had my car brought into the shop to get some body work done while I was away in New York for a month for work.
