As we grow older and pass through the different stages of life, we face new challenges. Estate planning helps you prepare for a wide variety of different issues ranging from settling the question of who would care for your children if anything should ever happen to you to paying for nursing home care and using your estate to benefit those you love after you have gone.
Our firm is committed to helping people deal with all of their elder law issues, including planning for or finding assistance with nursing home care costs. We know what is at stake for our clients, and we are dedicated to creating solutions that ensure that all of your elder law needs are met, from nursing home care costs to establishing a conservatorship or guardianship.
The unfortunate reality is that for many people nursing home care is almost prohibitively expensive. While some people look ahead and build estate plans in advance that will help them deal with the cost of nursing home care, many families find themselves facing the question of how they will meet that expense only when they find themselves facing that need.
When you look around at the life you have built for yourself - whether you are planning to start a family, gearing up for a big new client or spending languid summer days surrounded by your grandchildren - are you confident that you will be leaving your loved ones the legacy you intended without unnecessary burden?
Families with special needs children understand the importance of working together. If you are a parent of a child with special needs, you have likely become an expert at finding community resources to advocate for your child's care and happiness, and you may worry about who will do that when you are no longer around.

Kim has been a great atty since my brothers death in Oct of 2020. While during COVID has delayed many of the court processes this law firm that's outside their control but she has kept me in the loop along the way. I highly recommend. She's knowledgeable and her staff and associates are people who aren't just out there for your money. They have genuine interest in your family matters. They have also been able to cater to a COVID environment. I've been working with this Law Firm predominantly from another state and you wouldn't notice.

I wish I knew where to begin heaping on praise! Kimberly Butler Rainen, along with her staff, are intelligent, thoughtful and professional. I am so happy to have had their help.
My closest friend passed away with no will and Kim took care of all issues surrounding probate and settling of the estate. In doing so, she treated me as a friend, making an unpleasant situation bearable. She was always available to answer questions and she took the time to give thoughtful, thorough explanations. Fees were entirely reasonable, but the respect with which everything was handled was what truly stood out.
