All of our estate plans start with every document we consider necessary to protect you in the event of death or incapacity. A codicil is simply a will-like document that either amends, adds to or revokes part of an existing will.
Due to the ever increasing cost and delay of proving a standard will (or an intestate estate defined by nolo.com) through the probate courts, any client that owns real property, such as a house or land, should seriously consider a Trust. If your estate will contain real property, a Will would be required to go through the probate process to transfer title to your beneficiaries.

I reached out to Gendelman Klimas to draft our wills and estate plans just before our baby boy was born. They worked very quickly to make sure all of the documents were finalized before he was born. Their pricing is very fair - I compared their rates to several other attorneys who I found on Google. Their package included everything we needed and nothing we didn't (some other firms seemed to charge thousands of dollars more for things like "legacy videos" for your family to watch if you pass, which seemed totally unnecessary to me). Nick did such a great job with our estate documents and made everything so easy to understand and helping with our questions. With blended families sometimes wills can be confusing but he was very knowledgeable and helped guide us through everything. Nick is a great Attorney and made all the paperwork easy to digest and feel comfortable regarding my estate.
