I take my daughter to her all the time. She asks several times if her hair is too tight or if she still likes the style as she goes.She works so fast. She really cares for her clients hair and does a great job. She's very professional and personable. The she gives great tips and tricks to maintaining your hair.

Sometimes you just don't want to deal with your natural hair by yourself. I tried out Essentially Shane's and I'm pleased with my results. The shop was small but not very crowded, which I liked. I made an appointment and didn't wait an obscene amount of time. I'm kind of a nervous natural, and I dont get my hair straightened a lot, but i tried it out since i'm going out of town and I'm glad i came. I'm kind of opposed to Dominican-style blowouts because of all the unnecessary heat, pulling and breakage that it causes, so i was happy that coming here was

Got my hair done by her and it didn't turn out bad.. but prior to the appointment I told her my hair was NATURAL! Meaning no heat whatsoever... and she continued to say she wouldn't do my hair because it wasn't straight enough or "detangled" and I responded all it needs is water and some leave in if it gets a little hard to manage.. anywho.. I let her blow dry it but I will never go back.

I love Shane's. First, it is so convenient. She has long hours and you can book your appointments electronically. I've never had to wait a few minutes for my appointment. She cut my natural hair about six months ago into a tapered style and did a great job. I've started taking my daughter to her as well. She really cares about the health of your hair. She executes many natural styles so flawlessly. I really enjoy visiting this salon. Did I mention it is so easy to book an appointment online!
