Her passion and drive has brought her many places in her career, including working/training at Juut Salon in Minneapolis and Colours Salon in Boulder, CO.
But Jenel's heart belonged to Alexandria and she eventually moved back to the area to bring her knowledge and skills to Salon Alexis. She continued to follow her love for education by seeking out advanced training all over the U.S., from LA to New York. Her love for color pushed her to become an "American Board Certified Haircolorist" in 2002.

My stylist was really nice, but unfortunately I was under the impression that she knew what I was looking for when I showed her pictures and described what I wanted. I came in to darken my hair and have a balayage done with my bang pieces left light but blended so when it grows out it wouldn’t look bad and have a straight line when grown out which I have had done in the past with other salons. My hair ended up not looking anything like the pictures I showed her and what I wanted and discussed with her. Instead it turned out pretty much all one color except for my bang pieces which she lightened

My technician was very sweet. But the manicure was not worth what I paid for it. I hate writing negative reviews, especially when I nearly passed out on her. But my cuticles were hardly pushed back, you can see through the polish on some fingers, and I really wasn't aware that this was going to be polish only. I had wanted a French manicure for a professional look, but she was not able to do that for me.

Two weeks in advance, I made an eye lash appointment. We just relocated to the area permanently. I called today to verify my appointment and the receptionist gave me the wrong time. While I'm on my way, the receptionist calls me and tells me I'm late and needs to reschedule. She argues with me and told me she told me a different time. The owner calls me and I explained I called to verify, just moved to the area and have nails and hair coloring as well as lashes.

I was trying to book hair and make up for my upcoming wedding and communication was very poor from the start. Once I was finally in touch with someone they said they “had to check with the girls to see if they could make time for me” with my wedding being 6 months away thought that would give people plenty of time to figure out schedules as well as hair and make up would need to be done before noon so not asking for the girls to put in a long day.
After waiting 3 weeks, for a response, I was told they couldn’t make it work.

I see Olivia for hair services, the scalp massages are the best! They take their time, and make sure your hair is what you want. They have great professional opinions as well if you need help deciding what would go better with you.
