Services
Chapman Insulation LLC is a family-owned and operated full-service insulation contractor dedicated to providing the highest quality of workmanship and complete customer satisfaction. We provide complete insulation service for your smallest room addition, or your custom dream home. We also provide insulation removal service.
Before work is started, tarps are layed to protect your home. Baffles are installed in every joist space to ensure proper ventilation. Attic rulers are installed to ensure the proper amount of material is blown in throughout the entire attic. If any unvented bath fans are located, the fan is vented to the outside to ensure no moisture is venting into the attic space.
Chapman Insulation is proud to offer products you can have confidence in including Owens Corning, Green Fiber, Touch 'n Seal, and BlazeStop. Fiberglass insulation offers many benefits. It is thermally efficient and economical. Fiberglass insulation costs three to four times less than spray foam insulation products.
Vermiculite is a mineral compound that was used as insulation. Older homes are more likely to have vermiculite in the attic space. Vermiculite may or may not be contaminated with asbestos. A sample must be taken and sent to a special lab for proper identification. Consumer information regarding vermiculite can be found at this link: "Illinois EPA Statement."
No.in fact, you will never know we were there when we are finished. Tarps are laid to protect all flooring and when we are finished, all traces of any stray blow material are vacuumed. This varies on attic size. Plan on 2-4 hours, but once your project is measured we can give you an accurate time frame.
