We are renowned for our progressive and innovative approach to design challenges and we strive to propel the world of yacht design to new frontiers. We offer full interior design, decoration and layout services for custom or production motor or sailing yachts of any size.
It is our philosophy to nurture the relationship with each of our clients in order to gain an insight into their wishes and requirements, in order to best actualise their ideals.The key to giving such a bespoke service lies in versatility. Our experience in the space planning of an interior and design of its layout, coupled with our understanding of on-board practicalities, enables us to create areas that transform the dynamic of life on board.

As well as undertaking the technical side of design we maintain a full product and fabric library and can assist in all aspects of interior decoration, colour schemes and soft furnishings. Material details are provided to the interior outfitter for upholstery and soft furnishings; overhead, cabin sole and bulkhead linings; solid, veneered and lacquered surfaces; appliances, ironmongery, lights, fixtures and fittings.
DU were challenged to produce a clean, modern interior that is both practical and stylish. Turning this request into reality requires enormous attention to detail and a good working relationship between the naval architect, the builder and the interior designer, especially when the builder is on the opposite side of the world.
Travelling to Design Unlimited could hardly be easier. By road we are minutes from the M27 motorway. If you are travelling by rail both Southampton Airport station and Fareham stations are very close. Southampton Airport itself provides flights to and from many European cities while for those travelling from further afield London's Heathrow and Gatwick airports are both less than 2 hours away.
