Therapeutic techniques used include strengthening, range of motion, endurance, balance, neuromuscular education, gait training, and functional skills. Manual techniques, joint mobilization, and various equipment and treatment methods may be incorporated into the treatment plan. These include but are not limited to, heating pads, cold packs, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation.

The goal of physical therapy is to optimize function, protect against injury, protect against surgery, and improve the quality of life. Physical therapists are highly-educated, licensed health care professionals who can help patients improve or restore mobility and reduce pain.
Physical therapy experience includes, but is not limited to, orthopedics, neurology, geriatrics, aquatics, acute care and hand therapy. Taught first year graduate physical therapy students and has also been a clinical instructor to physical therapy students during their clinical affiliations. Member of notable associations which include the American Physical Therapy Association and the Vestibular Disorders Association.

Innovative therapy is the absolute best! Each visit I’m greeted with a warm smile from Shaneice at the front desk.

Dr. Vicki is an amazing physical therapist. This is the 2nd time this year I have gone to her for PT and cannot reccomend her and Shanice enough. Very friendly and welcoming team that make PT much more enjoyable. If you need physical therapy, this is definitely the place to go. I'm injury prone so I will probably end up coming back at some point so Vicki can fix me again!

I experience a re-occurrence of plantar fasciitis and the treatment I received along with the proper approach to strengthening my foot allowed me to get back quickly to participating in my recreational activity. The personal care and the adaptive treatment is why I would recommend them to my friends and family.

I don’t know if I have enough space to write about how amazing Innovative PT is. I am very please with there services they offer. I came there for PT for an Achilles heel. If you every had this injury you can understand that this is a tedious and long recovery time. I never torn anything let alone walk in a boot. Leigha Tate is a wonderful therapist. If I could give more stars I would! I went to the office with lots of pain in my back after 1 week with DR Leigha I feel a lot better and I can move. She did an amazing job and was super nice. She’s the best doctor I’ve been too. Dr. Vicki was also really amazing. She as well was nice and did a great job! The front desk receptionist Shanice was great as well and super nice. Overall a great office environment

The best physical therapy program in the area. I’ve been to a few. Dr Vicki offers personalized therapy and is there with you. Shanice who is a constant therapeutic assistant, is always there to assist and is a joy! At Innovative you aren’t just left to go do the “routine”. This is a comfortable, family like atmosphere. I highly recommend this practice!

I had the best experience with Dr. Vicki at Innovative Physical Therapy after my surgery and I can honestly say.... I miss my weekly visits! Dr. Vicki and her staff, Shanice, are so compassionate, knowledgeable, helpful and overall just amazing people! I was able to get back on my feet and back to my workouts in no time.
