The process of being mentally stimulated to do or feel something, especially to do something creative (Webster). At Inspiration Health Services, our role is not limited to just providing medications, but also to actively assist our patients in the process of becoming inspired to be better. Medication has its role in the treatment of mental illness and substance abuse.
However, it is only one tool. Some individuals will need this tool for a lifetime, however, others may only need the tool for short period of time. Together we work with each of our patients to plan out a course of treatment that is comfortable for them and meets their individual needs.

Services
During my years in the Army, I worked in the Chaplain's Division providing counseling and support to soldiers who were entering military life, facing deployment, and in a Critical Care Medical center for wounded and critically ill military personnel. Returning to Salisbury in 1989, I learned there were not support available for individuals with HIV/AIDS.
Once the patient has become Engaged, the next step is to ENGULF that patient in a complete treatment program. Through Inspiration Health Service's connections with our community resources, we are able to recommend other services that can be utilized to obtain wellness.
These services may include: Individual therapy, Intensive out-patient therapy, Partial hospitalization referrals, Neuro-bio feedback treatment, and PRP services - just to name a few.

The final step of the process is to ENERGIZE the patient to go out and inspire others to be better. This step uses all of the prior steps for the betterment of not only the patient - but all those that are important in the patients' life. As the patient encourages others towards wellness - this unilaterally provides additional supports for their patients on their respective paths as well.
Part of the mission of Inspiration Health Services, LLC, is to assist those who are struggling with the disease of addiction. We believe each patient is at a certain point along the pathway of recovery. IHS works to meet the patient where they are on the road and to gently guide them along the path until they are able to cross the bridge into sobriety.

For the past decade I have seen countless mental health professionals. I just recently saw Dr. Paul. Surprisingly, he was able to pin point so many stressors in my life-after just 1 appointment. He was knowledgeable of my history, my family’s health history and also the progress I’ve made with a colleague of his. I left his office with a sense of relief-that I may be finally able to get my meds correct, practice coping skills and continue to make progress in my recovery.
