Do not come here! We had a carwash package for 2 cars, when it's done we saw that the inside weren't vacuumed at all! So we went around and had them done again, but as we were pulling up we heard one of the guys that work there (Andres) say "I'm not vacuuming his, he didn't tip" Umm..excuse you? We tip right after the service is done! Btw, my bf is a generous tipper. It's very frustrating not getting what we paid for and they are very rude. The manager Raul was helpful and confirmed that they really didn't vacuum the inside so he made them do it again. We

Very slow! My car was vacuumed promptly and then sat for almost 10 minutes with no other cars in the drive through. Other cars that arrived after me got into the wash before me. They seem short-staffed (yes, it's still a Covid world), but employees seemed lethargic. No idea what's up with this place. Car was clean, but painfully slow.

First time going to American Car Wash and it will be my last time going. I wasted 24.99 on the Silver package. I opened up all my car doors and around the inside of the doors were still dirty.. They didn't vacuum under the car mats just the top. And all my windows had streak marks. They didn't even touch the back window on the inside. They barely wiped the inside of my car down. I had to get them to vacuum out my car again and clean around the inside of my doors. I didn't notice how bad my windows were until the sun started to go down. I normally wash and vacuum out my car myself for much cheaper

First time here today and LAST! NEVER again. Arrived @ 1:51 PM and left @ 2:42PM!!! When I arrived the place had 3 people inside, 4 cars being dried off outside. I have a black car and when it came out of the wash they parked it and not ONE person dried it off! COVERED with water spots, inside hardly wiped down at all. Watched my car just sit there while they worked on cars for people that came in after me! 45 minutes for a crap wash and NO cleaning that made a difference. Really? And the guy outside claimed I yelled at him when I was simply trying to talk over the loud noise of the car wash. Australian

My very 1st visit was on 4th of July and was delighted to see they were open, well staffed, courteous, and informative from start to finish. I got the hand wash and was told their cost, expected wait time which was less than 30 mins, and closing time (since it was a holiday) just in case I wanted to go shopping at the next door mall. I decided to hang out there and look around the store which was stocked with yummy ice cream, cold drinks, greeting cards, and plenty of fun things to enhance your car with. Good quality is somewhat of a subjective nature in this industry. But think seriously of buying a monthly ticket in several price ranges and service levels. I have found them to be an excellent deal. I found it interesting that during Covid there was little personnel turnover, and that continues to this day.

I heard a radio ad for this car wash, then saw the bad reviews. Still, it was close to the hotel I was staying at so I gave it a shot. No complaints! Car was cleaned very , and everyone there was very sweet and attentive. I will only come here for my car wash when I'm in town. Please make sure to keep your Diet Cokes stocked , especially on hot days!!

Just wasted $28 and 20 minutes. I took my brand new car, as the first wash. They were rushing very bad, they don’t care if they scratch your car. And after they’re done with everything. I still can see a lot of dirt on the front of the car.
When I took the car heading back home. I noticed that inside is still the same way I have them the car.
Don’t go over there. Don’t waste your money, don’t waste your time.

I've been a few times over the past few years. It's a comfortable place to wait for your car, but the wash itself needs improvement. I got the 'gold' package most recently. The windshield wasn't cleaned well and I'm fairly confident the driver's footwell wasn't even vacuumed at all. Surfaces were wiped down, but not much care was taken to ensure those surfaces were clean.

The staff was super kind and polite. The exterior looked pretty good but the interior work was not done well at all. There were lots of places they missed with the vacuum. They didn’t remove the floor mats. For $30, I expect more attention to details. If you vacuum, vacuum until it’s done. I will come again because it is a convenient location and the exterior looks good. But I’ll do my own interior.
Edit: I asked if they could go over the carpet again and they did without hesitation. I’ll still do my own interior next time but they really did a good job on the exterior.

These are the AFTER pictures of the inside of my car. AFTER being upsold . AFTER tipping too. Brought home and opened the hatch and it's not even acceptable for a BASIC wash. Clearly hasn't been vacuumed nor wiped. This is 2/2 times. Don't waste your time or money

I took my father's car here to get it washed before we had to pick up a few clients. Service was great and the guys working there were super nice. I got the diamond wash which includes a detail and yet they missed QUITE a few details. I looked in the trunk and it hadn't even been touched with a vacuum, not to mention I shook the rug out and lots of sand came out.

On a business trip from San Diego I needed a quick, good car wash due to the rain. Thanks to Yelp I found David, the owner at An America Car Wash, www.palmdesertcarwash.com.
I had an issue that I believed was caused by the car wash. David went out of his way to find a solution and instantly took care of me. The service was so good I had to pass it on. I asked for his card because great service should always be applauded. He's a heck of a nice guy too. Highly recommend.

New owner, very nice Australian guy :). Updated with new signage and furniture. Outside lounge area is clean. I would've given 5 stars, but my car was windows and roof top were not dried down very well. Had to go over it with my own towel. 1st time stop, so will have to see how they do next time. Very convenient area next to the mall.
