Our school is located upstairs in the Education Annex Building of the Angleton First United Methodist Church. We are associated with the CBBA (Christian Black Belt Assocaiton) which originated out of the mid-western United States but has affilitate schools all over the lower 48. Mr. Brown is a retired educator who relocated to Angleton with his bff and college sweetheart in the spring of 2015 to be close to his children and grandchildren.
Mr. B taught in public education in Indiana for 36 years as a middle school teacher, middle school and high school wrestling coach, high school Principal and Director of the Hancock County Alternative Education program. During the day he runs Independent Performance Fitness LLC, a local one-to-one private boutique fitness facility for "vibrant" boomers who want to live their best lives!

Services
Our purpose is to glorify Christ Jesus and help and mentor our students so they can grow strong in all areas of their Christian walk and life. Build and strengthen self-confidence in our youth and adults in a family friendly atmosphere (leave your ego at the door) by instilling Christian values as we train our physical bodies for self-defense scenarios that we hope we never have to face.
Master Brown teaches the skills that your child needs for success in school and life including: honor, respect, discipline, courtesy, integrity, humility, self-control, perseverance, courage, civic duty, love of God and country. We also work on good citizen and people skills such as how to make eye contact and how to shake hands!
We are a Traditional martial arts school. What does that mean? It means that we take care of our students, students do not act up in class and if they do, they will be asked to leave until they can get themselves under control. Adults please leave your "ego" at the door. We are all students and are here to learn.
Our Fall Semester Program runs from September through December and includes the following: Student uniform, club and AMTA patch, your liability insurance and the student's first belt. Studying Taekyon Jitsu Do at our school is an investment in the future of your child. Mr. Brown wants every child to be an independent thinker who is intelligent, strong and kind!

Park in the old Beacon Building Parking Lot and come in the red Methodist Day Care door entrance to the church. Come in, turn left and come upstairs, turn left again and come down the hall to the third (3rd) door on your right - Come in - Welcome!
