I loved this whole little town!! They're obviously proud of their history and they have made a commitment to preserve it. This mercantile didn't have good signage, but the building is unmistakable once you know where you're going. They had a decent selection and it was fun just to walk around and look at things.

Friendly, brightly lit, spacious and exactly what we needed the day we blew through town. We enjoyed a couple of smoothies, spent a relaxing half hour chatting with other customers in the seating area.
Sometimes, it's well worth getting off the interstate, taking the "old" roads. You wind up in nice places like this.
