I would give this service 0 stars if I could. The communication is terrible, there is no follow-up on denials, I've had benefits misquoted on several occasions(stating benefits when there were none leading to services rendered with no payment), you cannot get anyone on the phone, it always goes to an answering service and then you may receive a call back hours later, and when I finally do the leg work to track my money down from the insurance companies they take 10%. Terrible service- manage your expectations if you decide to try these guys out.

I was looking for something that would be perform well for several east coast-based locations. Everything went pretty well with the sales staff of HBS and they were supportive. The migration to Holbie was what our office actually expected. We use HBS and the Holbie applications work pretty good. At any rate, we love and still recommend HBS.

We had a rough transition with Holistic but overall it has gotten a lot better and we don't have hardly any issues with the service.
Pros
There are multiple options to do things, which makes it user specific. I also love that the product development team is always working on ways to improve the system and is great when it comes to listening to the every-day users. If they have an issue they own up to it.

The help desk can be difficult to use until you get the right person.

Never use this service. They like promise what they cannot do. The employee Pamela gave us a lot trouble on the verification process and provided us wrong and incomplete information all the time. I will choose other smaller vendor or service to have a closer and nicer relationship and service. When HBS gets bigger, they started to ignore the service quality. They also didn't do enough research to answer our questions. One time, hbs advise us to ask patients keep coming and said the insurance would pay. However, the insurance didn't pay because hbs didn't ask details and provided us wrong advise

I have yet to actually work with them for billing as I'm not an insurance-heavy practice and haven't had any insurance patients since signing up, but the staff at Holistic Billing went above and beyond to answer all my questions before registration and walked me through the whole billing process. I'm feeling confident that billing will be easy, and am looking forward to making insurance verification and billing a smoother experience for both myself and patients.
