Shortly before your scheduled procedure, a representative from our facility will call to confirm details of your appointment. If we can't reach you, make sure to call us no later than the day before surgery. We'll need to know about current and past medical conditions, current medications and allergies.
The most important way to prepare for a surgery or procedure is to understand what is awaiting you. This section provides information to help make your experience at our facility as successful and positive as possible. The staff is happy to answer your questions, so do not hesitate to ask. If you will be staying with us as an inpatient, you should bring your home medications with you, with the exception of herbal supplements and narcotics.

I had joints fused in my foot. Overall, everyone and everything was wonderful. Except for my nurse in post-op. I can’t remember her name or anyone else’s. As soon as I knew I was conscious, she was talking about going home. I knew I was going home but I still felt so out of it that I just wanted to take one thing at a time. All of the other nurses seemed busy but from what I could hear were very caring to their patients. My nurse was just standing around at the nurses’ station when she wasn’t with me. My advice would be to go to this hospital but if you have a nurse like this, get someone

I had a THR here during a bad snow storm and the Covid-19 pandemic. It's I believe a 12-13 bed unit and they have (3) RNs and CNAs. Staff to patient ratio is great! Very attentive, no wait for help, and extremely friendly. Everything was clean and they did a great job with covid precautions/protocol.  My care was outstanding. Everything went smooth and I was up walking maybe 3-4 hours post surgery with PT. The RN also walked with me throughout the day in the hallway which I really appreciated because I know how busy they are! I stayed over one night.

Just arrived home from an overnight stay at this facility for a full right knee replacement. I can not adequately describe the superior treatment that I received throughout this whole process. From Dr's appointments, testing, interactions with the staff, and finally the actual surgery - the staff and facility far exceeded any expectations that I could have anticipated. Great experience! If you need orthopedic care this should be your first choice!

I had a total knee replacement here and I just can't say enough about the excellent care that the folks here gave me. From the time I registered until the time that I checked out ,without exception, there was always care and concern for my well being. If I ever need to have anything like this done again I would certainly lean to having the procedure done at Physicians Care.

Horrible.... there for one night for hip surgery. nurse forgot to plug in leg air pressure machine which is used to reduce chance of blood clots.. and when i asked her why it wasn't on, she was flip and said oh she forgot. Also forgot to ask doctor about medications questions I had. They insist you bring in any prescriptions you have but failed to give them back to me when I left causing a great deal of problem for me to try to get new ones when I got home because the insurance company would not refill. I tried hard to tell the nurse when I was leaving that they were in the safe in the room and

My mom fell during a tennis practice, and fractured her clavicle, leaving her arm completely detached. She also suffered a horrible concussion and torn hamstring. She was recommended to Dr. Ramsey from Rothman by numerous people, and the experience thus far has been nothing but pleasant. Today, May 15, 2019, my mother is currently in surgery. I had nasal fracture repair surgery today with Dr. Larry Feiner of Valley Forge ENT with anesthesiologist, Dr. Ascanio and nurses: Scott, Terry, Linda, Sharon and Danielle. What a top notch organization from the registration intake rep., Tina Wheeler to the recovery room. ALL of the staff was so very accommodating. Everyone was so helpful and informative for every step of this surgical procedure. I highly recommend this facility for a surgical procedure! Thank you to all of the staff and KUDOS to you!

From start to finish, the ENTIRE staff took excellent care of me. They were also very kind and accommodating to my ride home. The staff that handled my pre-admission testing were very pleasant, & quick. Day of procedure: check in was a breeze, my pre-op nurse was amazing, the entire OR team was wonderful, my post op nurse was also wonderful. I was given clear instructions for my aftercare, as well as having my follow up appointment already scheduled for me.
I would go here again, should the need ever arise. I also would very highly recommend this facility. It's clean, and I can't rave enough about

I recently had arthroscopic knee surgery at this facility. Everyone from reception to the medical staff were great.
The whole procedure was explained prior to me going under.
They even contacted me the following day to see how I was doing.
I wouldn't hesitate to have a procedure done at this facility.
