I called about eight mobile mechanics & Rick was the only one who not only called me back but was available immediately. I had a used alternator which he had checked at Auto Zone before he installed it to make sure it was good. Because of other issues, the car was still not reliable but I had to move it from its current location. After the installation, he followed me home to make sure I made it. He had to jump start the car three times within about three miles. I will tell all my friends about his quality service and his kindness.

Summary, I hired Rick and am now down ~$3,500 parts and labor and motor light came back next day- Rick AWOL)
This is actually a triple review.
First time we used Rick was on a truck with simple master cylinder swap out. He showed up, did the work.
OK, decided to use him for the more important bigger project in our van. It was quoted as a two day project. That was spread out over 3 weeks~ Lots of personal stuff, and that's fine- maybe it was just bad timing. But when he finished the check motor light came on the next day.

Very honest, prices are so reasonable and even with ordering a part he was able to come back the next day and repair my car in less than 45 minutes. He showed me what caused the damage in the first place and recommended I hang onto an old belt in case I ever have one break. It was nice being able to say at home to wait while getting schoolwork done rather than being stuck somewhere waiting. I'm glad my mom recommended him and will definitely use his services in the future.

My Check Engine light was on and I found Rick's Craigslist post. After taking his advice to go to a parts store to pull the codes, I discovered it was nothing more than a cracked gas cap! Other shops were quoting me $75-135 just to diagnose why the light was on! I appreciate Rick's honesty, and will definitely be calling him for future work.
