SOUTH TEXAS - Cally Coleman Fromme, vice president of business development at Zarsky Lumber in Victoria, says she is constantly thinking of ways to get young people interested in the construction. A nearly 90-year-old Victoria-based business will soon join a Colorado-based building company. Kodiak Building Partners and Zarsky Lumber Co. top management members announced Thursday that Kodiak is in the process.

After confirming this place had the material I needed over the phone, I then arrived and was told they didn’t have the material I just confirmed they had 15 min prior to arrival! The people are very rude and have very little knowledge about building material!

Great lumber yard with friendly staff that are willing to go above and beyond what you would consider the norm to service their customers. The prices are slightly higher for lumber than the big box stores but I have found the product to be superior. I am a local contractor and really like that they carry a large selection of cedar lumber as well as Cabot products which are my favorite as far as finishing wood. Although the prices are slightly higher I will keep running my business through them for the service and product line. Support your local businesses!

Freddy always has great conversation. Very helpful in locating supply that wasn't available with zarsky. Very speedy delivery. Would of been five stars, but we had to wait 10 days for a refund.
