We thought this campground was very nice. People in park not too friendly, but staff was helpful. Quiet and good space. We definitely would camp there again.

I had no idea this campground was so close by; I've lived in the area and didn't realize they had some fun activities! They have a great pool and bounce pad, their cabins are very clean, but small. Air conditioning throughout does help in the dead of August! For a fun day trip, you can bring the family and hit the pool. Bugs were minimal.

The people who work at Spruce Row and the family members who own the campsite couldn't be nicer. This was our first camping experience using a used camper trailer. Of course, everything went wrong, the AC, the fridge and hot water wouldn't work. The problem was with the camper and not the camp ground electric. I asked for help and 4 maybe 5 people were at our campsite in minutes. Try as they might, nothing worked. We were not able to stay the night in a hot trailer with a child under 2. We wish we could have enjoyed the pool, walking trail and other amenities at the Spruce Row. It all looked really

Spruce Row campground is a very large campground. Even thou none of the employees stopped and talked with us about our stay while we saw them around the campground. We talked with some seasonal camper, tent & RV campers. Everyone was friendly and suggested things to do. When our family goes camping we choose a campground near lots of outside activities. Our family took full advantage of both walking Buttermilk & Taughannock Falls and the bike path at Cass Park (which is paved). We went into Ithaca for lunch (there are tons of restaurants). Even a Wegmans grocery store in case you forgot something

This is such a cute campground. I visited some friends for the day and had a great time. There were tractor rides, a band, the pool is nice, a jumping pad, gift shop. I'm going to actually camp there someday, I hope.

Dirty bathrooms, the tent sites are terrible and muddy. The owner and the wife are very rude and not welcoming. Do not turn your music up at night the local campers are not very nice at all.

This campground was definitely more for RV campers. The tent sites were located down hill in a very swampy area. One of the bathrooms listed on the campground map was torn down but the map wasn't updated. We had chosen our campsite because of it's proximity to that bathroom so we were very disappointed that we had to walk a ways through the mud in order to use the next closest bathroom. If we had known before hand, we would have changed campsites or not camped here at all. Also, the showers and bathrooms were dirty and horrible!!! If you have an RV these campground would be fine but if you are

This is one of my favorite campgrounds we have ever stayed. The location is fantastic, close to everything Ithaca has to offer, yet away from it all as well. The weekends are filled with fun activities for all ages and the weekdays are quiet and peaceful. The facilities are clean and the grounds are well maintained. I would definately recommend staying here!

Perfect location, friendly staff. Stayed for 3 nights in a cabin. Cabin was clean and adequate. Lots of weekend activities planned, nice store. Its not a fancy campground but that's why we like it. Relaxing and down to earth. Bathrooms are older as noted in other reviews but served the purpose. We will come here again

Bizzare at best. The feel of this campground is much more like a long term residential mobile home park with an inflated bouncy pillow then a public campground. Our site was in the middle of an open field in a line of other tents with a line of RVs across from us. Imagine the boys side and the girls side at a middle school dance. The next 'site' over was maybe 3 feet on both sides. for some reason the RVs across to us had porch lights on all night shining in our faces as we tried to sleep in our tent. It was super noisy...you know when you can hear total strangers on both sides of you

Great camp ground. We rented a cabin for two nights. We wanted to get away from the city and we were not disappointed with our stay. This camp ground is mostly for families. The pool is really nice and if you have kids there's some fun activities around the camp ground. Checked in at the store which had all camping needs to accommodate everyone. Bathrooms were fairly clean. We didn't use the showers thought.

On our last night we were wondering the camp ground a bit and were amazed by all the stars so nice and clear. I would definitely come back here with my family and friends. It&apos

Very nice campground. Our site for our tent was beautiful, mix of grass and trees, just like being in a forest, but without leaves all over. Very spacious and shady too. Pool is nice and clean, bathrooms and showers were basic, outdoorsy, but clean and very hot water, no bugs at all. Many trails in the woods and through fields to go hiking on. Theres a brook that runs through to walk up. Each campsite comes this picnic table and fire pit. The owners at the store are very nice and friendly also.

I am going to write out facts about this campground

-They have a great website, who ever designed their website did a great job staging, photos etc.
-The road through the campsite is very bumpy, pot holes here and there. I would recommend fixing 10 holes a year. Taking your rig up and down the road is rough, as taking your car not a fun drive
-Pool I didn't use, the website makes it look amazing FYI
-WIFI Non-existent, connection was horrible. Don't even try logging on it will frustrate you
-Cell phone service - sprint no service T-mobile no service ATT spotty service
-Only 30 Amp sites

This is a more rustic, quiet family type campground. We enjoyed staying here in our coach. The rates were good, the owners we very friendly and accommodating. We really loved the area and hope to stay again.

Avoid. Make no mistake: I like rustic, old fashioned campgrounds, but this place feels way off and the facilities are worse. The photos and description here and on their website are misleading at best!

-- Our campsite was not remotely level or flat, and it was covered in leaves. I'm talking about huge dips and valleys in the site that made it hard to get four legs of chair all touching the ground, let alone a table.

-- Our firepit was filled with trash

-- The sewer connection at our site did not have a threaded connection, so I had to weigh down my hose with rocks.

We stayed here for Fourth of July weekend and loved it. I read all of the bad reviews but also read one that said they there were new owners and they were trying harder so we decided to take a chance since its a fantastic location to explore the finger lakes area. We had a great site and would definitely return. It is crowded in the field, but I feel that way about RV parks. Make sure to call early and talk to the staff about getting a good spot- because this place did have a lot of great ones. The bathrooms are campground bathrooms. They're old and crappily made- but you're camping so

Overpriced, overcrowded, terrible bathrooms and shower facilities, rude staff. The campground is mostly rednecks who aren't too friendly to young people, even when you smile and say "hello". Too far out and too far from Ithaca, good luck if you don't have a GPS or smart phone. Hope you're not in the mood to party or have fun...
