Since the liquid asphalt in blacktop needs time to harden and cure, usually 6-12 months, your asphalt will remain somewhat soft and pliable until then. You may walk on your asphalt immediately, but keep automobile traffic off it for at least 3 full days and longer on hotter temperatures. Although not as hard as concrete, your asphalt has many advantages and when fully cured will be very durable.

We worked with CEG for over a year in preparation for having our subdivision road and our driveway resurfaced and they were very easy to work with. Steve, their estimator made multiple visits to our site at our request to insure that we were both seeing the project the same. CEG provided us with two great bids and we selected them instead of the other two contractors. Being local was part of the decision making process. They showed up early on Wednesday September 22 and got right to work. The driveway resurfacing was completed in just over two hours before they tackled the road resurfacing. The

to completely re-pave the driveway, and they responded quickly. Their fee was reasonable and they were able to begin the job within a very reasonable amount of time. Mike and his crew were very professional, they worked hard, and they finished the job to completion in one day. They had a lot of ground to cover and they did a spectacular job.
