Devon Tile & Design Studio celebrated its 30th year with some very big changes. Roberta Cyronak, the last remaining of 3 founders completed her transition into a much-deserved life of leisure by transferring ownership to two long time employees. Bonnie Hughes who joined Devon in 2001 as part of the design staff and Jamie Reilly who joined in 2005 as bookkeeper.
Both have worn many hats over the years to gain a comprehensive understanding of the high-end tile industry. Over the years, CPG, Inc. has grown to be Devon Tile & Design Studio. A premier showroom offering unique materials and comprehensive design services to residents of the Philadelphia Main Line and beyond.

I was shocked at how dismal the customer service was a few years ago unless you were a "designer". I decided to give them another chance. I wanted to walk through and get some ideas. I didn't know they are by appointment only now. I walked in and the rude unfriendly receptionist said "can I help you?" I told her I just wanted to look at the tile. She said we are by appointment only and then just went back to staring at her computer monitor.
Wouldn't you see if anyone was available at that point or ask if I'd like to come back? I reached out through email and

So very disappointed. I had a very good appointment on February 17, 2021 with Christen. However the one star rating is due to the fact that they never followed up. I never received the promised email with price quotes of the tile I picked out. Then I emailed a few weeks later and never heard back. I was designing a full bar, full bath, wine room, and kitchen. So it would have been a large job. I spent two hours picking out tile and I never heard a word from them. VERY Disappointed!!!!

We worked with Devon tile through Abby Schwartz Architect for our renovation project, they have a wide selection - beautiful stuff! Staff was extremely helpful, they have good eyes and are experienced. Very very happy with how the kitchen, and the bathrooms turned out. You can't go wrong with Devon Tile!

I was taken to this shop with a designer - spent an hour picking out tile to be sent out the door with - we'll send the price to the designer. The price turned out to be extremely expensive and the focal point I choose couldn't even be done because one of the accent tiles had a minimum that far exceeded the need for the focal point. Why would you display that focal point???? Why can't you give a price while I'm standing there? Waste of time.

My experience at Devon Tile was absolutely fantastic. The minute my husband and I walked into the door we were greeted with a friendly smile and positive attitude. The staff was so helpful and walked around with us for hours to pick out a backsplash to match our countertops. We are thrilled with the quality and overall appearance of the tile we purchased here. I would highly recommend Devon Tile everyone!

Sadly, you can't give a zero star rating. Remember that scene in Pretty Woman where she walks in the store and no one will help her and she returns all dressed up and laughs in their faces? That's kind of how I feel. I live on the Main Line and have bought tiles at Devon two times in the past. I tiled a bathroom in marble and also did a custom backsplash through their store. Made an appointment and met with a "designer" to talk about a new backsplash (14 years after our old one). I can't imagine a more dismissive, offensive encounter with a sales professional. I

They deserve zero stars. No one greeted me, not even a hello after passing several sales people. No other customers were in the store - I finally had to ask for help. The sales person showed no interest in me at all, actually made me feel like I was inconveniencing her. She didn't ask about my project, offer suggestions, it was very awkward. I tried asking her questions but got two word answers while she walked away from me several times. She finally told me I should try the Tile Shop. Wow. She could actually learn a lot from the Tile Shop they have an incredibly friendly staff. Obviously
