What a wonderful hidden oasis! We stayed there one night and wish we could have stayed longer. The sites are perfectly level, spacious and very accessible. The owners are delightful. So very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Dakota Sunset as a must stay if you are near Mitchell (Corn Palace) or Souix Falls South Dakota.

Stayed overnight for 1 night. Great place to stop in and gather yourself.
Impression - very clean, very green, very friendly
1 quarter = 6 minute showers best deal for paid showers.
Got to choose our own tent spot.
Sink for dishes, washers, dryers, iron board, microwave, and free ice cream upon arrival.
Definitely would stay again! 10/10 would recommend.

What a gem of a campground! My wife and I stayed at this campground while headed to the Badlands and the Black Hills. All of the sites are well spaced and all appear to have plenty of shade. We had a back-in spot and there was plenty of room for backing in. The entire campground is super well maintained - my hat's off to the owners. While there we booked a night for our return trip a week later and we weren't disappointed - same great experience. The owners take obvious pride in their work and it shows in the campground and service. We will be staying at this campground again! Thanks for the ice

We only stayed 2 nights here but could have stayed much longer. This RV campground is perfect. The attention to detail you see in this park is not something we have seen a lot during our travels. The gravel roadways to each campsite are groomed perfectly level. Art, sculptures and flower pots are everywhere. Not a thing out of place. The Wifi was really fast...the best we have seen in over 1 yr and full time camping. The office and store have ice and a wonderful selection of goodies, The park is surrounded by corn and soybean fields and is quiet. This is a real gem of a campground. Not a thing

We pulled in late on the 24th of July. Hosts were waiting on us and had cookies from a local bakery to offer. They walked us through all the details for check in and drove us to our site.
We were able to get connected up and even met a few friendly neighbors outside.
Great spot for an overnighter, and the sunset was beautiful!

I called to make a reservation. They would not even allow me to book anything because I have young children. I was told "we don't want to babysit your kids." I am a full time mom and would never ask anyone to watch my kids. I am a very attentive parent. I have never been treated so rude over the phone in my life!

Well maintained, well-managed park, gravel roads, big gravel sites that fit our 40' MH with toad. Staff were some of the nicest we've met. There are a lot of touches that make this park homey - sculptures, flower pots, thriving plants. Lots of grassy shaded areas. Wifi was great (they upgraded to a new tower).
No dog park :-( . It's the only thing we didn't like about it. Lots of barn cats that always look relaxed and comfy. They hang out nearby but stay out of your way.
Clean restrooms, laundry and showers (25 cts for 6 min of hot water). We stayed 6 days and they were all
