St. John Neumann Catholic High School is committed to providing our students with a rigorous, College preparatory education, rooted in Gospel values and the educational philosophy of St. John Bosco. We create a unique personalized learning environment that prepares each student to positively impact the world through faith, integrity, intelligence, personal responsibility, joy and selfless service.
We understand many families want a Catholic education for their students, but in some cases, the full cost of tuition is prohibitive. Limited tuition assistance is available for qualifying students based, on assessment of financial situations. Apply for a Florida Tax Credit Scholarship or Family Empowerment Scholarship through Step Up for Students, if eligible.
Florida Tax Credit Scholarship and Family Empowerment Scholarship applications open in late winter. We encourage families to apply online as it simplifies submission and provides parents the ability to track the status of their child's application. To begin the Online Application process, you will need to create an account via the website link.
All incoming students are required to take our Entrance Exam. The exam scores will be used for determining student coursework placement levels and Merit Scholarship awards. 8th grade students attending our feeder Catholic schools have a separately scheduled, private group test on their campus during the school day.
In 2001, the Florida Legislature created the income-based FTC Scholarship Program to assure that low-income children have more learning options. The scholarships are based on financial need and can be applied toward private school tuition. Depending on need level, these monies can cover almost half of the tuition cost at SJN.

As soon as we were on the grounds of St. John Newman. We felt a sense of loyalty and a relaxed place to b we feel fortunate that our grandson has been there at St. John’s as he seems to have exceeded very well with a tremendous ant of respect in all areas.
