Amy is an amazingly caring, ethical, effective professional with unparalleled expertise in the autism spectrum. She has been very helpful for me personally, has been a wonderful support and resource for friends I've referred to her for counseling services, and has worked for years to support mental health community efforts throughout the state. She's a tireless advocate for people with neurodivergence and I can't recommend her highly enough.

Amy is the best! She is one of the caring, professional, and ethical social workers I know, and was an inspiration for me to go into social work myself. She is dedicated to serving her clients with compassion and empathy, and ensuring equitable legislation and practices to support her clients. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend GCS! I have first hand knowledge of the therapist named Amy but also the owner seems to be very professional as well. Amy is an amazing clinician and someone who listens and gives wonderful counsel and support. Amy also has been wondeful during COVID to keep her clients safe, while still providing services which I wholeheartedly appreciate and support. Great therapists are hard to find, but look no more!

If you treat clients the way you treat customer service representatives, I can see why you have a 2.3 rating on Google. As mental health clinicians, ESPECIALLY as SW, we are expected to treat people respectfully and manage our issues with displacement. As SW, we are supposed to understand that human beings, no matter what job they may hold (or not)… are worthy of dignity and respect. I am disgusted at how you, the founder and owner, speak to those you perceive to be "less than" (a note: they are not less than you), disgusted that someone that has received an abundance of training that this

CLIENTS BEWARE!!
Saw Amy Cooper-Puckett for couples counseling with my ex whether we were still
together. After a messy split, that resulted in a lawsuit, Amy wrote a letter testifying to negotiations that were had during what I believed to be confidential sessions. This has completely ruined my trust, not only in Miss Cooper-Puckett and Georgetown Counseling Services but also in therapy in general. I believed that Miss Cooper-Puckett would be held to the same ethical standards as a psychologist instead, because she is simply a licensed clinical social worker, these standards are apparently less

Have your loose screws tightened up here. Also great for a top end tuneup.
