Back in 2010 when, after almost 20 years of working at the larger brokerage houses, I made the decision to 'go independent'. I became an Investment Advisory Representative, IAR, with First Allied Advisory Services, for a myriad of reasons. My primarily motivation to move to an independent platform was to offer a singular focus on the needs of my clients.
