Clear Lane offers economy service at rates considerably lower than asset based LTL carriers. With the increased volume and limited capacity we have been forced to source capacity at much higher costs.
As of result of the increased costs, Clear Lane has implemented a "California Capacity Surcharge" of $30.00 per shipment. This surcharge will be in effect until further notice and will affect shipments originating in California and Nevada. Clear Lane Freight Systems, Eco friendly - Economy long haul LTL solution for 3PL's and their customers. Clear Lane Freight Systems was founded in 2012 by LTL (less than a truckload) industry veterans Tom Nagel and Ingi Torfason. The goal was to fill a need for economical long haul LTL service. We handle general commodities with the exception of hazardous materials. There are some delivery sites we do not accept shipments for such as grocery warehouses, convention centers. This is the worst delivery company in existence. We ordered our products for the holidays in June, I understand there was a shipping delay on many things so we ordered early. December 1st we get notified that the delivery will be happening soon. I call and let them know our hours are 11am to 8pm Monday - Saturday, they say no problem. The 8th comes and goes and no delivery. I call again and they say it will be delivered soon. I let them know the hours again, they say no problem. I call again twice after that because still no delivery and let them know the hours again and again they tell me no problem

Item was shipped through this company over a month ago. Sat in their Akron facility for a week shipped it back to Chicago then the agent tells me that the trailer now is on a train to New Jersey. This is a part for my company’s truck that was to be delivered October 27th and now it is November 11th and they aren’t a shipping company they use actual shipping company’s to do the work and the customer service is awful, was told I’ll Get it hopefully next week but that’s dependent on the 3rd party freight company. So if anyone is considering using this company I would highly recommend not

Advertises the lowest shipping prices available, then sells the shipment off to a 3rd party and never responds again.
Maybe it gets delivered maybe its lost forever. Their customer services only job is to give you the run around, they never are able to track anything.

The shipping/freight had its problems and delays but there is a woman in their customer service department named Merri that helped us out so much in supporting some of our delayed shipment. She gave us 4-5 updates a day and saw its delivery until the end. Kudos to her, she made the experience much better.

Still waiting for a pallet that was picked up on September 27th, today is October 24th. Transit time was supposed to be 10 days.
I've called at least a dozen times and unlike other reviewers they have always been polite to me, when they tell me, "It will be there within a day or two at the most".
So it's 18 days late and I'm concerned if it will ever arrive.

Customer Service - not responsive, and if they do respond they are not professional at all. The Customer Service Manager named May is rude and NOT professional. You ask them for an update for a load that left on 10/4 and all they keep saying its delivering tomorrow, its delivering tomorrow. Unbelievable!! Our company will no longer be using Clear Lane for our loads.

This company is a great way to throw your money in the trash and waste your time. I bought a quarter panel to repair a car. The part arrived in Memphis where it was clearly dumped to rot. I've been calling everyday for 2 weeks and every day I get the same response. "It'll be tmw, it'll be tmw, it'll be tmw." I'm guessing my part might show up on a day called "tomorrow" in 2030. All sarcasm aside this business has no intention of ensuring your shipment arrives. They sell your shipment out to a third party and that third party has no interest in completing the job. This has been the worst shipping

The service of this company is terrible, a shipping that was quoted as 7 days transit was delayed by additional 28 days (5 times the quoted time) and until today there is not a near delivery date to receive it. This is not acceptable at all. When we contacted them to identify the problem and to know how we could speed up the process their only answer was that they can not guaranty shipping times and anything else. Moreover, the price of the service is not cheap. We do not recommend this company to anyone. If you could use other curriers like UPS or DHL is much better, you will pay more, but you

From a Corporate Executive standpoint, the thought of having to post a review on another company to illicit an response to several calls is alarming by any standard. Our company custom built a very expensive custom food unit for our wonderful Clients in Louisiana. The unit was somehow lost in transit, and arrived to our Clients completely destroyed.
