I called Detroit woodworking because I needed some wood doors for my boat redone. They said bring them in and drop them off and they would call me with a price. 2 weeks went by with no call. I called their office to see if they had the quote and had to leave a message. Still no call back, so I waited another week and called again, left another message. I drove to their office and the woman Holly, that greeted me said that she would go and investigate, 15 min later she comes back and says that they misplaced my quote and would have to redo it and could I leave the doors for a few more days. I bought kitchen cabinets from Detroit Woodworking, through a local cabinet dealer. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a purchase. First of all it took 3 MONTHS longer than we were promised. Then when Detroit woodworking said they were done, the stain match they were paid to do was terrible, so much so we refused the cabinets. We still don't have cabinets 5 months later and when we call Detroit Woodworking we cant get anyone on the phone it just goes to voicemail. Do not buy or your designer buy from this company.
