At Hearthside Medicine Family Care we provide a wide range of care for our patients from primary care to holistic health and pediatric care to health screenings and wellness exams. At Hearthside Medicine Family Care, we recognize the importance of a patient-centered medical experience. This inspires us to create strong and long-lasting bonds with each of our patients by providing unrushed care and listening to our patient's needs. Each appointment with us typically includes 25-45 minutes of face-to-face time with your provider.
Hearthside Medicine Family Care offers integrative and conventional primary care, and can serve as "PCP" for the purpose of insurance and general family care. Conventional medicine includes diagnosis, prescriptions, referrals, and small office procedures such as skin biopsy, IUD placement, suturing, splinting fractures, toe nail removal, acute and chronic health management, immunizations & more.
We are passionate about advocating for our patients and offer compassionate, inclusive, progressive care. We provide comprehensive and compassionate care for all patients regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. Lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBTQ+) patients have historically been an underserved community with unique health needs.
We know excess weight can cause low self-esteem, low energy, poor sleep and sleep apnea, increased joint pain, diabetes, high blood pressure, and more. We want to help you live your best and healthiest life! Sometimes, when diet changes and exercise alone aren't enough, we need temporary weight loss medications and strategies to beat defeat.

Havilah is one of the best nurse practitioners I have ever had! She truly cares about her patients and gives each one the time and energy they deserve. She provides thorough and holistic care. All of her referrals have been terrific and I truly felt cared for while I was her patient. In the past I avoided going to my PCP, but with Havilah I knew she would work with me to create a treatment plan that felt right for me. Havilah was my PCP for two years until I moved to a different state. I can’t express how much I miss her and the amazing staff at Hearthside Medicine. I highly recommend!!

Both of my teenagers have been patient's of Havilah for about a year now. We have always had excellent experiences. We feel heard, acknowledged and understood. She is kind, compassionate, non judgmental and never overbearing. We've always been able to get in to see her, or another provider, in a timely manner. We have always felt comfortable with everyone we have interacted with at Hearthside Medicine. I'm so happy to see her practice is successful and thriving. I changed my PCP to be Havilah and Hearthside Medicine this year and I could NOT be happier about the move.
Everything about my care there has been exceptional. Exams are always thorough, on time, thoughtful, and make me feel like I am not just a number in a queue.
Due to the attention, and holistic approach, I was able to find out some things about my health I would not have without them. Now there was a problem area that has been pinpointed and I am getting the care I need for whole health for many years to come!

I cannot speak highly enough of my experience with Hearthside Medicine and Havilah Brodhead, NP. Her staff was so compassionate with me as a new mother--I called a lot those first few weeks because I was scared and unsure with a newborn. I have received the absolute BEST care at Hearthside Medicine. Havilah truly cares about her patients as individuals and has always taken the time to answer every single one of my questions. For the first time in years, I have my digestive health completely under control, thanks to Havilah. Havilah and her team have always been more than welcoming when I have needed to bring my children with me to appointments. The Hearthside office is small (so no large crowded waiting rooms, ) very clean, and comforting.
