We are a small place where the atmosphere is calming and the staff is friendly. We are client based and will customize each massage to suit the clients needs. All our therapists here are independent contractors, are licensed by the State Of Connecticut and have had at least 650 hrs. of training.

Services
Long flowing strokes~light touch, kneading, tapotement, friction, compression, and vibration. As with all the massages listed here, Therapeutic massage will help decrease blood pressure, stimulate blood and lymph flow, relieve pain, increase joint mobility, and relax overused muscles. Shares many of the ideals as our Therapeutic Massage, but this massage service is tailored specifically to the needs of the pregnant woman and her changing body.
You can book appointments on this websites, on Facebook, or by calling 203-230-0026 between the hours of 10 am and 6 pm. Before or after those hours, please leave a message. If you can't find an appointment that works for you online, please call, we may be able to work something out for you. Please try to arrive 10 minutes before your massage appointment.
It can be used from your cell phone or printed out. You can call us at 203-230-0026 and we can personally mail you a gift certificate or email one to someone for you in any amount. You can also come by our office at 2693 Whitney Ave., Hamden and personally pick up a gift certificate between 10 am & 7 pm Monday thru Friday or Saturday morning.
We have added, below, a few of forms that you can print and bring with you to your appointment, if needed. You can print this out and bring it with you or fill it out in the office. If you choose to fill it out in the office, please arrive 10- 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment. Again, you can print it out and bring it with you or fill it out in office.
Elcy graduated from Branford Hall in 2007 and came to work for Massage On Whitney in 2008. Elcy has the experience and knowledge of many different massages which include Therapeutic, Deep Tissue, Bamboo, Reflexology, Sports, Prenatal, Sinus Relief, Aromatherapy and Hot Stones. She customizes each of her massages to the needs of her client in order for them to leave here feeling relaxed and refreshed.

I highly recommend Leon! Every muscle from head to toe was in knots and I left feeling no stress with my muscles feeling relaxed and smooth. He was professional, made me comfortable and explained to me the reasons behind specific pain and the muscles involved. He showed me ways to stretch the muscles and I felt invigorated and loosened up. He is a… great listener and and catered to my trouble spots. I am going to continue self-care in this manner in 2022 and going to book monthly massages with Leon. It was the best way to end a tough year on a positive and uplifting manner. I give him 5

Had my first session with Leon and have already booked my second! I’ve seen quite a few massage therapists because I deal with chronic muscle tightness and no one has made a dent in my pain until Leon. He was so patient in hearing my needs and educational when explaining what exactly is going on in my muscles! I left feeling relieved of both stress and pain. Booked a last minute appointment for a deep tissue massage with Leon. I was having awful neck and shoulder pain which was giving me almost daily headaches. Not only was it a fabulous massage, he also showed me some stretches to help relieve some of those tension spots at home. Will definitely be back.

I booked a therapeutic massage with Leon and it was ahhhhmazing. The establishment is nice and clean. Leon took the time to listen and come up with a treatment plan. He was extremely professional and talked through the techniques he was doing, making sure I was comfortable with everything. One of the best massages I’ve ever had. Leon was the absolute best! He took amazing care of me from the moment I walked in the door. Every step of the way he checked to make sure the pressure was right, the temperature of right, the lighting was right etc. I walked in there with a very messed up back/ very tight muscles and walked out feeling like a new person. I just brought my 15 year old son here for a sports massage due to muscle pain and fatigue. Leon was our masseuse and he was amazing! I stayed in the room with my son while he had his massage and Leon made sure to explain everything he was doing and why he was doing it, showed us some stretches that we can do at home, made sure my son was comfortable with everything and he was just all around a really nice person. I HIGHLY recommend him if your son is a young athlete. My son left there feeling amazing and more relaxed than he has in a long time. We will definitely be making this a regular part

This experience was my first ever receiving a professional massage, and let me tell you, it was not a disappointment! I did the prenatal massage because I'm currently 7 months pregnant and my body aches like crazy, and by the time Elcy was finished giving me my massage, I was relaxed and felt great! She was very professional, and told me from the beginning if I felt any discomfort to let her know. Needless to say, I felt fine and comfortable the whole time! Pregnant or not, definitely consider getting a professional massage. The price here (which really wasn't that expensive) is totally worth it

My wife and I each went in for a massage today and we will definitely be back. My wife felt relaxed and refreshed after her massage with Elcy.
