Born in Oklahoma City, Dr. Reeves graduated from Classen High School and attended Washington University in St. Louis, MO, where he met his future bride, Mary. After completing his undergraduate dental education, he attended UMKC College of Dentistry. He served in the US Navy, completing a general practice residency at Oak Knoll Naval Hospital in Oakland, CA, followed by a duty station on the USS Enterprise and USS Odgen as Dental Office.
