Services
Our funeral home has a unique history and committed relationship working within the community. We invite you to explore our legacy. As is the case with many long-standing, multi-generational funeral homes, ours began as something else - a hardware store. It was 1913 when Roy and Lonnie Parks came from their home in Oxford, Mississippi, to Paden, Oklahoma to open a general store.
When you first begin the process of designing a funeral, the decisions you'll face might seem overwhelming at first. We're here to help you tackle the choices one by one and make the journey one of love, healing, and life celebration.
The process can be broken down into two stages: decisions regarding the service and how you'd like to honor your loved one's life, and decisions regarding how you'd like to care for your loved one's physical remains.Whether it's formal or informal, traditional or offbeat, a funeral provides an opportunity for family and friends to gather and support one another in taking the first steps of their healing journey.

Even the smallest touch can make a big difference in personalizing your funeral services. There's no right or wrong when it comes to celebrating your loved one and honoring their life, accomplishments, and individuality. Personalization isn't just about honoring your loved one's individuality. It also allows family and friends to feel connected to the services and the life being honored.
Sometimes the thought of planning a funeral seems too difficult for those who've suffered a loss. We're here to help lighten your burden and remind you of the true value a ceremony can hold for you and your family. Coping with a loss is never easy, and services are an essential part of the recovery process.
After the funeral is over, a permanent memorial can provide family and friends with a dedicated place to continue their healing journey. The grieving process doesn't end when the funeral does. Oftentimes, the services are just the first steps to healing and recovery.
It can be hard for the bereaved to return to their regular routines so soon after the services are over, especially given the demands of the modern world and the limits that many employers place on allowed time for grieving.Creating a lasting tribute can give family and friends a permanent place to visit whan they need help feeling connected to the loved one who has passed.

Had ordered flowers for services the night before form the Parks Bros website via their Sympathy Store and was guaranteed they would arrive for services by 11 AM the next day. Was called by the Sympathy Store folks later that evening and told that since the services were still pending (although they were 100% set for the next day at 11 AM), they could not process the order. I called and e-mailed Parks Bros, the problem was not fixed, the Sympathy Store canceled the flower order without me knowing, and the services went on without our flowers. Very, very disappointed in what a huge mess this was
