At Phoenix Preschool, we believe that with our skilled and patient teachers, the right tools, and age appropriate activities all of our children will have a head start on their academic career, and the tools to become successful adult. Our Teachers are certified to teach at the appropriate grade level and all lead teachers are certified in the State Of New Jersey (K- 3rd grade).
In addition, all staff are required to participate in our Teacher Development Training approx. 50-75 hour each year. All this is done to ensure that our school and its instructors are always kept up-to-date on the changes of early education requirements and techniques. Furthermore, our staff members are all very carefully selected with an in depth background check by the State of New Jersey.

When I opened Phoenix Academy, now Phoenix Preschool in 1999, I brought not only 18 years of teaching and supervisory experience in Early Childhood Education. The most important qualities I bring are my love, patience, and respect for each and every child trusted to my care. I am so pleased that you are considering our school.
Although I heard about Phoenix Academy from a friend, the feedback did not do the school justice! I worked in childcare for several years as a Director, so I knew what to look for regarding faculty, children, curriculum and overall growth and development for the center as a whole. I am pleased at my child's development and enthusiasm.
Yes, each classroom has a lead teacher who has a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. In addition, each lead teacher has work experience with his or her particular age group. With a parent or guardian's permission only, a child may be released to an alternate caregiver who presents valid photo identification.
HSP Math offers an assortment of learning materials, carefully reviewed by leading math expert and design to provide students with meaningful and diverse educational experiences. The underlying processes and mathematical tools are carefully integrated across the lessons, and algebraic thinking is developed at every grade.
It is the most efficient and effective tool in education today, because it enables educators to provide interactive learning environments in today's 21st Century classrooms. It is well established that three and four year olds need a strong focus on cognitive development along with attention to their social/emotional development to be ready for pre-school and kindergarten.

I don’t even have enough words to describe this school. My daughter started this school year as a kindergarten student who missed her Pre K year due to Covid. As a parent I was concerned that she would be behind. My fears were put to rest. I have never seen an academic program as intensive and effective as the one offered at Phoenix. I am impressed more and more daily as I watch my daughter excel in her education. It’s a small school so the staff is very personal and hands on with each child. If you’re thinking about taking the leap, do it. You will not regret it.

I was highly recommended to this school by a family member for our 2 year old. I contacted them two times through email on their website, and twice over the phone, all of which went unanswered. I got through on the phone to a woman who answered and seemed overwhelmed with the background, understandable. However , I was told that she would have someone get back to me and she attempted to hang up without taking my information. When I questioned how would they get back to me without any information, she stated, "oh yes I will give them this number on our caller ID". I found the encounter to be very

This place is absolutely amazing! I have already recommended this school to many people and will continue to! The teachers are so patient and they have so much compassion for your child. They are as concerned about the well being of your child as if he/she were their own! My child is five years old and can read full books on his own! He amazes me with the amount of knowledge he expresses daily. They don't only prepare your child for elementary school, they prepare them for their future! If he were able to attend Phoenix Preschool through grade school, that would give this place 6 stars!!

This is truly a gem of a school. The curriculum challenges its students to their full potential and beyond. They use STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) to instruct the children. I also like that the instructors are constantly attending training courses to stay abreast of various tools and methods to teach their students. The facility is clean and bright, the lunches are nutritious, and the children are taught in a loving, structured environment.
