I photograph weddings and have a darn good time doing it. I enjoy getting to know the couples I work with, and being welcomed into their weddings as family. This familiarity is what lets me document the day unobtrusively, and capture genuine moments as they unfold, allowing you to remain focused on the present moment.
I believe that, while the planning process is sometimes tedious and stressful, your wedding shouldn't be. I try to make wedding photography as calm and easy as possible. In the weeks leading up to your wedding, we go over all the details, so that on the day of things go as smooth as possible. Brad did our wedding last summer, and we are still going back and looking at all the moments he was able to capture. He is creative and very good at what he does. Other photographers we talked to did not seem to have the modern touch that Brad. From our first meeting, to our last contact Brad made sure we knew what we were getting and we were not disappointed. You cannot go wrong with choosing Brad, and would recommend him for any occasion.

Brad and his team did a spectacular job for our wedding photos. We are obsessed with all the photos from the engagement photos to the wedding day. We can't stress enough how happy we are that Brad was our wedding photographer. Brad was so friendly and professional when helping us decide on a package, what to expect from the day and really helped us with the timeline too. We decided not to do a first look, so we did our portrait photos during cocktail hour. We told Brad how we wanted to do them quickly so we can enjoy a bit of cocktail hour. There are good photographers, great photographers, and then there's Brad Smith, the greatest. Having briefly worked with Brad with Yelp, I knew he was not only an excellent photographer, but a really cool guy. When I got engaged, I knew that there was no one else that I would rather have photograph our wedding.

My husband and I could not be happier that we chose Brad to document our wedding weekend. He was referred to us by our wedding planner, who I depended on for most of our vendor decisions. Brad was so great from the time we reached out to him about doing our wedding photography. He is so kind and easy-going and just makes you feel comfortable from the second you meet him. My husband and I are so happy we chose Brad Smith as our photographer. We have received so many compliments! For our engagement photos he drove to Cape Cod and spent a generous amount of time with us, and on the wedding day he was there early and left late. He captured it all and we are so thrilled. I found Brad Smith after googling my wedding venue, his pictures stood out to me every time. I am so happy with my engagement and wedding photos. The pictures bring me back to each moment, especially the candid moments, that now I will never forget. Brad took photographs at our elopement ceremony in Newport, RI and the whole experience was first class! Brad arrived early to make sure he was there as soon as we were ready for him. He shot photos during our ceremony and then we spent about an hour with him going to different spots in Newport for more photos. Brad and I had spoken ahead of time to map out a basic plan for the locations but that evening he was flexible and added a few additional spots in. He takes gorgeous posed and portrait photos but we were really impressed with the photos that really captured the action and emotion of the wedding. We did our engagement shoot with him, and the compliments we got on our "Save the Date" and other photos (and how much we loved them!) confirmed that we had made the right choice for the wedding. Brad was nothing short of amazing each and every time we worked with him! He photographed my husband and me three very different times- for our engagement, on our wedding day and once more for a styled photo shoot. There are not enough words I can say about Brad and his amazing photography. I have worked with Brad on several projects - head shots, workshops, and shoots for non-profit organizations, and every time has been so fun. He is so easy to work with, and so creative and talented - his eye for his work is incredible. Not to mention working with him is so FUN - I can't stop laughing the whole time I'm with him! I've gotten to know Brad over the past few months at different parties where he has been the resident photographer. He is kind, unobtrusive, and boy does he have the 'eye' - mushy backgrounds, artistic depth of fields, a flash that works in low light and gives a soft glow PLUS he has a know how in post production - what blemishes?! A rare find in a single individual.
