Granite's inherent strength, abrasion resistance, and superior weathering durability make it one of the most popular stone surfaces to use in your home renovations. Available in a striking array of colors and patterns, granite's durability, longevity, and economy make it ideal for kitchen countertops and other heavily used surfaces, including tabletops and floors.
Because granite is a natural stone and has a porous surface, sealants are an easy and effective way to protect granite countertops. Some people seal their granite countertops once every six months to a year, though stone can never be over sealed. Quartz is extremely hard and durable, has a glossy sheen, is non-porous, and is stain-and-crack resistant.

The Stone Countertop Company did a fantastic job get my counters, backsplash, and new sink installed! Every aspect of the job was discussed thoroughly and the only “hiccups” encountered were from my own indecisiveness at times 😁.
I HIGHLY recommend The Stone Countertop Company and will continue to use them for other projects in my home.
Edited to post some before and after pictures.
