Many years back, my father taught me the importance of hard work and how to build using my hands. It was my brother, a Certified Master Carpenter and home builder, who taught me basic carpentry skills and about residential construction and remodeling. Today, I still use those foundational skills as a licensed contractor to help homeowners maintain their home and, as I like to think, enhance their quality of life.

Chris is extremely conscientious and detailed in his work. Thus, he is booked well in advance, so plan ahead! Had home repairs addressed after home purchase - unfortunately the prior owner's contractor was not so conscientious!!! Dishwasher secured to cabinet, addressed issues in the attic space, replaced faulty doorbell, installed pegboards in the garage, etc. as well as gave quotes on additional work we can choose to do in the future.

Chris's work is first-rate. He did a fantastic job replacing the old railing and handrails around our exterior basement stairs and installing the new railing and handrails to match our adjacent deck. He flawlessly filled some holes in the concrete wall for us as well. Scheduling was easy and communication throughout the project was much appreciated! He is professional, thorough and a master of his skills. We are asking him back to do some drywall repair as well. We can't speak highly enough about him and his business.

We used Simply Home Maintenance to repair the rotting wood frame around our dormer window. We were very pleased with the completed work. Chris is personable, easy to communicate with, and his response time is quick. He does quality work. We already have him lined up to do more projects around our house. Chris did a great job for us by replacing 3 fence gates and the shingles on our shed roof. From getting the estimate through completion, Chris was very responsive and professional. It truly was a pleasure to work with him. In addition, I watched him work and found him to be meticulous and tidy. This was our first time contracting with Chris but we’ll definitely use his services again.

Chris is fantastic! His professionalism was seen by the quality of his work. He provided us an estimate for painting our exterior trim and doing drywall repairs inside our home. The scheduling was easy and he communicated every step of the way. He informed us of issues prior to doing any work we did not have in our estimate. The exterior looks great and you can’t even see where he repaired the drywall inside. I highly recommend his services and we’ll be calling him again for additional work.

Simply Home Maintenance was fantastic. I had a large hole in my mud room ceiling after inspecting a water leak and SHM repaired it perfectly like it was never there. I also had SHM inspect a dip in my basement ceiling. They found roughly 200lbs of excess mortar resting on the ceiling from when the house was built. SHM cut a large hole, removed all the material and patched it up like it never happened. I usually like tackling these types of projects myself but going forward I'll have to use Simply Home Maintenance, they're extremely professional and provide fantastic quality for really
