Remember the scene in the movie American Graffiti, where John Milner is cruising the streets, runs into a car full of girls, and asks if any of them want a ride. Well, truth being stranger than fiction that is exactly how Jim and Pat Defew first met. Fast forward to 1968, and we find Jim and Pat Defew seeking out a living by punching the time clock at an aluminum chair factory in their hometown of Benton, Kentucky.
We can assist you from the time you turn in a claim or get the police report until the very end! When you file a claim, they will give you a claim number and assign you an adjuster. If the insurance company wants to write their own estimate that is perfectly fine, we will go off of their preliminary estimate and if they happen to miss anything Jacey our office manager will turn in a supplement on your behalf.
You always need to get a police report when you have an accident that involves other people or property that way everyone involved is protected and you won't run into a "he said, she said" situation. That way your claim process and then repair can start right away, and you won't have to worry about a second tow charge, storage fees, or waiting for the tow company to find time to bring it from there location to our shop.
Yes, there is a lifetime warranty on all the repairs and paint work that we do for as long as you own the vehicle! The only thing it does not cover is; misuse, neglect, & normal wear and tear. You have the right to choose any repair facility of your choice, always remember it is YOUR vehicle there for YOUR choice on where to have your vehicle repaired not the insurance company's choice.

He took responsibility for something that someone did to me that was wrong and made it right for me. This is the kind of business that should be honored.

Had a lady hit me a few weeks ago in town, we chose Defew’s for repairs. Few days later had an unrelated issue come up, husbands out of town so I stopped in to see if they could help. Had it fixed within a few minutes and only charged me for the part! I will never go anywhere else. 10/10 recommend! Not only do they do a fabulous job but also ran by wonderful people! They did a very good job on Camaron 😭 theyre very nice and professional and explain anything to you that you don't understand or didnt know about. They managed to get my car in right away and had it for about two weeks, when they got done i did notice a very small area missed but I don't blame them it wasn't noticeable unless you knew it was there and obviously they weren't at the scene of the accident so no problem i pointed it out to her and they kept the car a few days longer and fixed it no questions asked. You cant even tell Camaron was ever touched by another car I will definitely recommend

DeFews got my car in the next day and got it done a week earlier than expected. It looks brand new and am very impressed. They have excellent customer service and very kind.
After I picked up my car I ended up hitting something in the road which caused a blowout. My boyfriend called him and he came right away and changed it out for me. I have never had such great service. Thank You DeFews for everything.
