I hired Alex to do a complete interior drywall installation and paint job for a 2300 square-foot house that I renovated. His quote was $20,000 for everything. The first problem was that he did not have liability or Worker’s Comp. insurance for Prestige Home Experts, even though his written estimate said that he was fully insured. I asked for his certificate of insurance, and he was unable to provide it, and gave me an attitude when pressed for it. This is a normal request that every other subcontractor working on the job was able to provide without hesitation. We were able to resolve this issue
