River View Campground is located on 27 acres of rolling countryside with giant oak trees. Nestled alongside the lazy flowing Straight River on the southwest corner of Owatonna, Minnesota. Whether you are rolling out a sleeping bag or rolling along in a mini-motel River View Campground has a place for you!

Rates Report

All visitors must register at the office prior to going to campsite. All vehicles will receive a visitor pass to be displayed in the windshield. Registered campers are also responsible for their guests to register and follow all campground rules when visiting. Please obtain prior approval if you have more than one guest vehicle or more than 4 guests visiting.

It’s right off the freeway so there’s so much sound coming from there and can’t hold a conversation during the day. The light for it was shining over us like a stadium light. IT IS SO CROWDED ITS NOT EVEN CAMPING. Everything was so overpriced may aswell have stayed in a motel. We couldn’t stay the 2nd night and he rudely refused us a refund and told us to leave. I won’t be coming back here and I wouldn’t advise anyone else to go. I’d rate it 0 stars but can’t post without atleast 1.

Amazing place ! The owners a great & make you feel like part of the family! Lot of friendly seasonal campers and the bathrooms/showers are incredible! Highly recommend stopping by for a night or two.

I've lived in Owatonna for quite a while 10 years in the country now I'm in town never been there it was really awesome D3 is where you need to be thank you so much for the weekend it was great

Very nice people. Guided to site. On small river, not far from I-35. Can be noisy. Sites are close together but doable. Full hookups for less than $50! Mostly seasonal. Has pool, playground..

Worst camping place I have ever went. To many senseless rules that you have to follow for what they charge you per person not per site and not tent friendly almost no grass just rocks and rocks and more rocks not easy to stake tents down.

Riverview is an amazing campground! Love coming here and seeing how pretty it is year round. They have a pool, mini golf, a very cozy store and tons of other amenities. Really is a great camp I recommend for sure!

My family and I are a seasonal here and we made so many friends!! We love it here the highway we are use to it so sometimes it makes us fall asleep a lot but we also like fishing here to and they have so many cute and easy crafts and amazing activities! And also the best owners that been here!! Love this place!

Nice campground staff was amazing on finding a way to get us a spot to hold 40 ft motor home and 14 ft trailer at 8 pm on a Friday. After the original campground messes up our reservation. Would definitely come back.

What a great time. If you are looking for a place to camp, Riverview Campground is the place to be. There are lots of things to do and the owners are great people. Five the place a try and you will keep coming back.
