I haven't done my taxes there but I witnessed something today that I didn't like. A confrontation between 3 of the women there and a parent who parked his car on the side off the parking lot while he waited for the school bus. These ladies were extremely rude to all of the parents there that weren't even involved including me. They took photos of everyone and called the cops, mind you they were on the sidewalk on public property. Then took pictures of my car as I drove away and threatened to call the cops because I had said they were being rude. I will never do my taxes there.

I have always had great service from A-1. They find legal deductions that I never would have discovered on my own. Regarding the complaint about people working there being rude to people parking there while waiting for the schools....uh, maybe consider parking in a bonafide legal parking area? I know the area that the complainant is speaking of and anyone who parks there risks getting a ticket or towed. Another option would be arranging a car pool and driving the kids to school.

The women at A-1 Income Tax charge much less than comparable tax companies while giving so much better personal attention. They really dig for all the deductions. Lynda told me that she got into the business to save people money by finding all the deductions they are entitled to. Many deductions are not well known and it takes someone willing to dig for them. Anyone can just put your numbers down and not ask questions, dig for deductions, save clients money. I had always used Turbo tax for years before going to Lynda. The reason I went is that I challenged her. My Turbo tax against her. Sure enough

Lynda is a detailed, efficient and helpful accountant. She and Carol practically race for the manual to confirm the rules when we have questions. They continuously develop their professional knowledge to the benefit of their clients. Their motivation and efficiency is impressive and they bill very reasonably for their work. I can't recommend A 1 Income Tax and Bookkeeping highly enough.
