Lammons Watch Clinic opened its doors in 1947 in Lexington, MS by current owner Nancy's father, Mike Lammons. In the early 1950s, he changed the name to Lammons Jewelry to better describe the full range of items available at the store. Nancy and her husband Allan joined the business in 1984 and purchased it from Mike in 1996.

Allen King of Lammon's was very helpful as I searched for a particular setting, had a family diamond appraised and handled other tasks associated with putting together an engagement ring. In the end he didn't have the exact setting that I wanted in the time-frame I was looking for so I used another jeweler for the setting. Allen was quick to ship the diamond to the other jeweler and extremely generous in his pricing (only charged for shipping the diamond!) even after spending a lot of time helping me. I hope and plan to do business with Lammon's in the future as such good service, responsiveness
