Services
Dr. Ryan Friel, a native of Sycamore, Illinois, graduated from Northern Illinois University with his Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with a focus on rehabilitation and exercise science. He then went on to Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida to receive his Doctorate of Chiropractic.

Dr. Ryan has helped me out a few times now including laser treatment on my knee and shoulder. I was certain that I would need surgery on my knee and thought I would give Dr. Ryan a chance before going to surgeon. He was able to get back to golfing in a couple of weeks. Proactive Chiropractic has been a life changer for myself and my families health.

Wonderful experience every time with Dr. Ryan! He has treated me throughout my pregnancy, and I look forward to my appointments knowing I will walk out of there feeling great. I have never been to a chiropractor before seeing Dr. Ryan. He was our neighbor years ago and I had been experiencing some foot pain and thought maybe he could help. Ryan was extremely kind and understanding and made a huge difference in my pain using laser therapy. He is extremely down to earth, very grounded, and very trustworthy. I highly recommend him!

I threw my back out at work and Dr Ryan was recommended by a friend. He really took the time to understand the injury and explain what happens when you throw your back out. He came up with a treatment plan to get me back to normal which included other rehabilitation methods not just adjustments. I have to say I was blown away with the knowledge and care Dr Ryan has for his patients and I feel amazing! I will be going back for my regular adjustments!
