I don't review many places but just had to jump on here! What a gem of a place hidden in Whitefield. Gosh everything inside is just beautiful. We had breakfast at the café and everything tasted amazing and the service was good, friendly staff and loved the complimentary chocolate. The price was reasonable too! Going to make this a monthly visit :) thank you very much (from a very tired stay at home mum) ❤️❤️❤️

What we ordered: Chocolate Fudge Challenge
Includes hot chocolate, 3 scoops of ice cream, cream, 2x melted chocolate pots and a huge slice of American fudge cake.
Thoughts 💭
This was so exciting when they brought it over. We started to work our way through. The melted chocolate pots were so delicious edible chocolate pots with warm melted chocolate inside 🤤
The downsides were the hot chocolate. We found it very watery so didn’t drink it in the end and the ice cream was ok just not great.
But, the star of the show did deliver. The fudge cake

Wanted to order everything on the menu, all the food we ordered looked amazing. Service was great, staff very friendly. Went for the chocolate challenge, failed. Also make sure you buy something from the shop on the way out. Had to park on nutalle Ave due to no parking outside, its a sidestreet on the other side of the road opposite the car park.

We arranged to visit here en route home. It’s been a few years since we last came and completely forgotten that there was no walk-ins due to Covid. So we called the number and they kindly managed to fit us in 15 minutes later. We had a walk round the shop whilst we were waiting. Once we got our table, we chose the afternoon tea. It seemed very popular as the staff kept bringing these from the kitchen! The afternoon tea was lovely and tasty! We thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon. There was a piano next to us which could have been louder to create an ambience. But all in all, a lovely place to visit

After yearning after visiting the dining room at Slattery for many years we finally visited as a surprise for my birthday!
The dining room was well presented, immaculately clean and very spacious. I was surprised how large it was!
The waitresses were extremely welcoming, friendly and knowledgable as we required gluten and dairy free food for our child who is allergic to these. They were able to advise and deliver food which was allergen friendly, including samples of chocolate.
My husband and I had the home made chicken pate which was absolutely divine. A little more butter wouldn't have gone

Absolute joke of a travel agents, extremely bad at simple communication. Trying to plan my trip with my friends has been nothing but painful because of these people. Also they expected us to pay an extra €150 to move our trip to next year even though it should just be cancelled due to COVID19. They won't even give us a credit note back or even just a little bit of the money. I'd strongly advise not going with this travel agents, also all the other groups going on there holiday outside of this travel agents got their money back, so these people are taking money from teenagers... disgrace
