The Hearth & Haven hearken back to Keen Lake's early history. Originally a home for two brothers who were gentlemen farmers, the two-unit duplex is an ideal retreat for families and friends who like to vacation together. Beautifully situated on the northern shore of Keen Lake, the Hearth and the Haven offer a peaceful retreat on the shore's edge.
The Cabin features a large capacity wrap-around deck, fully equipped commercial kitchen for use by our approved caterers, large indoor dining hall furnished with beautiful tables and chairs, plus a lounge with gas fireplace, and the log cab is equipped with wireless internet access. We are happy to share the surprise publication of Sarah and Ethan's wedding featured in "You May French Kiss The Bride, " a French Wedding blog published from Paris.

The owners were very personable and welcoming. The grounds were beautifully maintained and available for families to play ball( soccer, volleyball etc.). The rooms were impeccably clean and well appointed with amenities to meet the needs of the guests. Near to lake activities and town for shopping. One of our favorite hotels!

Joyce and Deans Lodge was a fantastic start on our road trip journey. It was the nicest and best place we stayed at actually during our 1.5 week road trip. I wish we would have stayed there our whole trip honestly. It was very comfortable, clean and well equipped with all the essentials. Joyce and Dean were a pleasure to meet and talk with as well as being great hosts. I hope to be back one day soon.

Stayed here this past weekend. The Lodge at Keen Lake was a clean, cozy, peaceful place to stay. The owners live on the property and are very friendly and accommodating. The suite we had was well kept and very comfortable to stay in. The lake is a brisk walk through well maintained paths and nice added bonus. There are spots on the property where you can set up a fire and just enjoy the outdoors. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet getaway.

We had to be in the area last minute. It was almost impossible finding a place in the Honesdale/Hawley area. But boy did we luck out. We stayed in a cottage (2 family cottage with separate entrances) by the lake. Literally - the like was right out back. The 2 story cottage was clean and comfortable with 2 bedrooms and a full kitchen. Window airconditioners worked great to keep us cool even in the 90 degree weather. The management went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and help us with any questions. In addition to the cottage, they also have a lodge with rooms/condos, we didn't stay there

I love staying at the Lodge! I spent my first weekend here in December 2018, and have come back several times since. The condos are beautiful (decorated during the holiday season in December), and so comfortable. Full Kitchen for all your needs, dining area, outdoor patio. The lodge is about 20 minutes from Scranton (awesome in the winter to hit Montage Mountain and some good dining spots), and 10 minutes or so from Honsedale (small business shops and great restaurants- check out the brewery). When the weather is nicer Prompton state park is nearby which offers hiking trails (also water falls!

I am beyond amazed at this beautiful property and the beautiful people who own it! I traveled to the Waymart area as a day trip but decided to stay a few days. I called this location and Joyce and Dean pleasantly accommodated me for 2 nights at the last minute. It was such a beautiful and relaxing experience. The condo was perfect. Both aesthetically and utility-wise. I was able to enjoy my time cooking, resting, and just looking out at the beautiful scenery. I highly recommend The Lodge at Keen Lake and recommend you also check out their store nearby the Wallflower as the decor in the condos is

Absolutely breathtaking. The pictures do not do it justice. The price is low and definitely worth a lot more. People leave reviews for outside Caterers that have nothing to do with this place. I have never seen anything that has intrigued me so much. Scenery the scenery goes on forever. There are trails, horseback riding oh, plenty of activities. The lodge is available for weddings. Five stars all the way!

We absolutely loved this place!!! The owners are wonderful and accommodating. Our room was large, clean and beautifully decorated. Our extended family stayed in the adjoining rooms and we made use of the lodge for a wonderful rehearsal dinner, the trails and the fire pit!! We will absolutely be back here again! This place is a gem!!!

The Lodge is amazing and the only thing better than the facility itself is how wonderful the owners are! We were lucky enough to have our our post-destination wedding party here and it was amazing. The log-cabin feel of the lodge is cozy and charming yet sophisticated. Joyce and Dean are accommodating and so easy to work with! We had 6 condos and everyone had a enough room to get ready for the fun and recover. Our guests were complementing the party and the accommodations all day/night. I can't recommend The Lodge highly enough!

This past July we had our wedding at the Lodge. We got married on the grounds, and had our reception in the Lodge. In addition, we filled every unit with guests. We could not have found a more perfect place! From the first meeting to the day we checked out, Joyce and Dean were professional, friendly, helpful and fun. They met with us and went over all our options, and then really let us craft our own unique day.
