Lori Edwards founded Lotus Acupuncture in 2004, graduating from South Baylo University with a Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She is licensed with the SC Board of Medical Examiners as well as the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Lori discovered acupuncture while exploring healing alternatives for MS.
Acupuncture is one of the most popular natural healthcare options available. Both modern research and ancient history give acupuncture an impressive record for safety and effectiveness. But, some people just don't like needles. One of the best options because it is fast, effective, and completely painless.
Gathering this information is important to see where the root of the problem lies and where there may be a disruption in the flow of Qi. Once these imbalances are detected, your acupuncturist will formulate a treatment plan designed just for you. This is not one size fits all medicine. Your acupuncturist will then place thin, sterile needles along the meridian pathways.

Went for my first appointment yesterday. Lori explains what your treatment will be after talking to you to find out about who you are and what problems you have. I received my first treatment of various procedures from Lori. When my treatment was over I must say I did feel much better then when I entered her office. Today is even a much better day for me. I'm looking forward to my next treatment. Lori is a true professional and very knowledgeable about what she can do to help you. Thank you Lori for showing me the way to good health. JG

I had never been to an acupuncturist before and decided on a whim to give it a go. In just a few weeks I’ve become an absolute believer. Lori is such a kind and open person; she always takes all my emotional and physical needs into account. She’s a believer that taking care of physical needs is only temporary as emotions are the root of physical issues. I absolutely love this because we focus every session together on taking care of current physical issues, discussing why those issues are manifesting, and taking care of root emotional issues too.

Lori is the one and only Acupuncturist I've been to, but I don't need any comparison to know that she's the best. She has completely resolved my shoulder pain and other physical ailments, and has tremendously helped calm my panic and anxiety disorder. Every time I leave there I feel centered and more myself than when I went in. It's a non-negotiable appointment - she's worth every penny and she even takes our health savings card.
